Who is going in January & where are you staying?

We will return from a DCL cruise on Tuesday Jan 4 and plan to spend 3 nights on-site. Per mouseavers.com, there are discounts to be had during this time period:

We have 2 days of 4 day hoppers left so we don't officially need tickets, but I will consider an AP if the rates are good enough because we plan to go back in Oct.

We've stayed at AKL the last 2 visits and loved it, but will most likely be at MK the most this time so I'd love to upgrade to a monorail resort (probably Contemporary). I've stayed at the Poly (WAYYYY back in time) and Cont. and liked it better. Is there anywhere I should look at for the same type rates? WL looks to be similar in rates, but obviously isn't on the monorail.

Where are you planning on staying?

DD and I will be there 1/1/04 - 1/7/05. Currrently booked and the Swan at $299.00/night. Working at accumulating enough starwood points to get a few free nights. If not will look at codes for WDW resorts.

We'll be at SSR 1/1, then BWV from 1/2-1/6. We're DVC members, no longer looking for codes.

We'll be there 1/7-1/23 ! We're staying at BCV's until the 11th (doing the half marathon) then transferring to the WLV . then on the 15th we leave to go on a 7 day Western Carribean cruise on DCL. We're so excited! Too bad the kids are in school then (college) it'd be nice to take them, but they can't miss classes now- can they?!?!?

My DH and I have finally decided to go from 01/07 to 01/16. We were going to go in Dec. so no MVMCP for me this year. But, this means we can go mid Dec next year on the AP's we are buying for this trip and I have something to look forward to after the holidays are over and we are going to go to HoopDeDo since we are not buying MVMCP tickets. Won't know where we are staying until AP rates are out. Hope the weather is nice. I have never gone at this time of the year before.

DH and I are going for New Years Eve. Never been there at that time so very excited! We will be at GF 12/30 through 1/2 and then moving to BWV. Hey Simba'a Mom, we'll be there the same time as you!

You should stay at the WL...you can ride the boat to the MK, or ride a different boat to the Contemporary and then take the monorail from there to wherever you want!

We go every year in the beginning/middle of January for 3 or 4 nights.

We are going 1/9 to 1/14 at BWV (rented points from a DVC member). DH has a convention so me, DD5 and DS2 will be tagging along!

We will be at SSR from 1/23-1/28 and then POFQ from 1/28-1/30 with our children. My parents will be there also, as my Dad purchased DVC for us. It is our first trip "home".

My husband and I will be arriving 1/5/4. We hotwired a room for $44.00 a night for the Doubletree Club hotel near downtown disney for the first four night. They were an add on. We were originally going to arrive on 1/9/4 and have room onlys at the WL for the 9th through the 17th.

We have friends who just moved to a condo about 25 miles from the world. Our friends children (our ages) and their children will be coming down on the 8th and we plan to be a great big group of about 12 for some activities. We are excited about visiting the world with our friends, but wondering how so many people get along in such a busy place.

We are also a little weary of the off site hotel. I'm almost ready to reserve a room at the All Stars for the 7th and 8th just in case the Doubletree is yucky!!
