I've been out of town for a couple of weeks so I just heard. Tell your dad I'm thinking of him. He has been SOOO helpful to me on many occasions. Tell him "nana" is rooting for him.

Alex, thank you for keeping us up to date with whats going on with your dad...Ive been talking to him since he started on here and hes an awesome guy...tell him we are thinking about him and have him in our prayers...and we will keep you in them too...its hard being the one watching from the sidelines...let him know we are thinking about him

Has been a not so good day, I have just learned of a death in the family a few minutes ago. I have been unable to reach anyone. I may not be on here for awhile..you all have great trips.

Hi, my name is Alexandra and my dad Jack has asked me to continue the best I can, he feels that he started it so I will maintain it. Dad got re-admitted to the hospital again for chest pain so they are trying to see if he needs surgery or not. Thanks for putting up with us.

Very sorry to hear the news and hoping things improve. Also very confused. A death in the family and then heart problems I understand, but how does the schrapnel fit in? Take care!

Thinking of Jack and family. We are also August travelers, and last year we were at DLR the week after Jack and his family. I relied heavily on his report for last minute planning of our trip. This year we were traveling at the same time, and I wondered whether we might cross paths somehow. I feel like a stalker for admitting that, but there it is.

How's trip planning going, all? I still need to cancel one of my hotel reservations-probably staying at DI&S and canceling BWPPI but still not positive. Argh. Super excited to surprise the family with our last two nights at DLH though am also still appalled with the expense.

With the recent news of EA at either park for hotel guests, my planning has to be reworked. We are there Friday-Thursday and were going to do Saturday-DL, Sunday DL, Monday DCA, Tuesday DL. Well, if we can do EE at DCA on Sunday, we'll do that.

After they took off the peanut butter palette at Carnation Cafe, I need to delete that reservation for lunch. We'll see if that EE thing actually comes to fruition.

DS is now measuring 40 1/4 inches without shoes so I'm hopeful for rides...we'll see how it goes.
