Who is going in August 2007?

We are coming in August too. I just joined this site and I am spending WAY too much time on the computer!! It's the first trip to Disney for our kids! We are going Aug 6-14 and staying at All Star Music in a family suite. Has anyone stayed in these suites before? I've seen the pics on the website. Just wondering if anyone can tell me more.

We have put on this board that we are going in August. Being that we are from Oregon, we are trying to prepare ourselves for the immense heat. Now, someone was saying something about Love Bugs. WHAT ARE LOVE BUGS?

The heat is not THAT bad. It's the humidity that'll kill ya! Ok, so here's what I know about the Love Bugs.

They are a UofM(?) experiment gone awry. They're black nasty little bugs that seem to be constantly "lovin'" one another. Yes, I mean in the biblical sense. They don't bite and are more of a nuisance, than anything. They're just plain gross. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but they only invade WDW from August to September.

August 10-17, no room reserved yet!!! Waiting on the whole free dining issue!! We bought the airline tickets though...what a deal...We have been flying there from Detroit for 10 years, cheapest tickets we have ever gotten..go figure!!!!
We will prob. go moderate resort this time....thinking about Coronado (never been there).....But DW loves POR!!!

And if you are driving they are squished all over the front of your car and window and a PAIN to get/wash off!

Finally made the leap and put the deposit down! August 20-26 (yes the day free dining starts) at the Poly for me, DH, DD (14) and DD (11). This is only our second WDW trip and we may not get back until the girls are adults so we are splurging on the Poly! Made my ADR's today and am feeling on top of the world!!

Hi Karen - I am from Maine and also going Aug 17 to Aug 26 we are staying at the Pop. I have a DD 13 and DS 10... You are soo lucky to stay at the Poly !! Maybe we'll see ya in the parks - be sure to have your LIME green on!!
