Who is going for Memorial Day Weekend?!

I AM! I AM! As a teacher, it's hard to find a time other than the summer. We lucked out and had NO CROWDS early/mid August this past summer so I'm a little nervous it will be super crowded but ....Star Wars Weekends for DBF and EPCOT for me!

We'll be there 5/24-5/28. Who else is going for this weekend??

We'll be there May 26th-June 2nd. This will be our first time going in May. Looking forward to The Flower and Garden Festival and Star Wars weekend.

we will be there May 19-28 this year. We almost always try to plan our trip for May (the best weather month as far as I'm concerned!)
We try for 2nd week usually , however, this year we are going to be there later (I have a final on the 18th!--nursing school--ughh!)
We were in WDW one time before on Memorial day..........Thursday was a normal, nice moderate-low attendance day at the parks. Friday was a little busier.......Saturday of memorial day weekend was H--L at the MK! SOOOOOOO many locals. You could also tell that many people there were not the standard class of people who save their money all year for a really nice vacation. I witnessed numerous accounts of littering and just plain "slobishness" that I just did not see the previous days in the week. I assumed (though it could have been falsely) that they were locals who jump over to the parks with discount tickets for something to do on a long weekend. It could also be that MK is the most congested park, in my opinion, not a good choice for a crowded weekend.
We are planning on doing a large park like Epcot on sat and just hanging by the pool on sunday.

We're thinking of going 5/19 - 5/27. We haven't booked it yet, but I'm thinking I'll do it soon. Just have to make sure the dates work. We love going in May. Perfect weather - moderate crowds...beautiful time to go with the Flower & Garden Festival. We went during Thanksgiving and it was soooo cold, we're looking forward to some hot Florida weather. We're hoping to stay at the Polynesian.

Count us in! Got reservations at Ft Wilderness for May 23-29. We have done this several times on Memorial Day weekend. We love it. Crowds not to bad. A little warm but not to bad. We just hit the pool at the resort for a few hrs at the hottest part of the day. We have been at many different times of the year and this is definitely one of the best. Love Star Wars!

This is very comforting to hear! I was very concerned about the crowds around this time. I am used to August crowds anyway so as long as it's not as bad as that...

Now we just have to wait and see if we get an AP code....
