Wow, I can't believe after all this waiting we only have 13 days to wait and then it will be time to go!!!
I have so much to do and I just started making my list last night!!!
Anyone else getting close? How ready are you? Have you started packing yet?

We've only got 4 days until we leave. We are in the process of moving and I haven't even started packing! But I know that once we're in the World, everything will be all right.

Only 4 days, that's so exciting!!! It really doesn't take too long to pack, you'll be fine.
I just personally made a goal for myself to help reduce stress and anxiety to be packed 1 week before leaving~which gives me exactly 1 week

We board the AutoTrain on the 6th and check in on the 7th! Less than 2 weeks! We have been planning this trip for almost a year since DH had to sign up for the Goofy challenge last Winter to be sure he got in the race.

We get there next Saturday morning!! I am so excited to be at Magic Kingdom on the 7th. I haven't started packing but I am mentally thinking about what we need to bring. It will be our first dinner at Ohana's and our second breakfast with Pooh Bear.

Leaving tomorrow at noon. Takes us 10 hours to drive. We had to rent an el cheapo hotel for one night since we added an extra day and of course the on property hotels were booked.

We are out the door at 2:30AM on Sunday- Dec 30th- three - THREE- yikes! days till leaving and I haven't even gotten the packing list ready! ugh!

We are flying -so not much to get together- just 4 jeans and 4 shorts and 5 shirts- for each of us- we will wear jeans and a tee on the plane with a hoodie.

I already have the medical stuff ready- first-aid kit, diabetic supplies for 2 people, asthmatic meds and nebulizer for 3 people, and a big old bottle of tylenol! I've bought new toothbrushes with covers and new deo... so they are ready to go. I can't wait!

I think I covered all of the possible weather situations- if it gets terribly cold- we can buy sweat shirts and layer. We can allways add new WDW sweatshirts can't we?!

I need to start getting organised
I have written lists and started packing things for our skiing part of the holiday but I haven't thought about the clothes for Florida

It is so hot at home right now that I can't imagine how cold it will be there when we get there.

I don't even have any US Dollars

I can't believe that it is nearly here, we booked this trip in January, so it feels like we have been waiting forever.

I can't believe it is finally so close... Only 12 days till we arrive at the World. We planned this trip in March so it seems like it took forever to get here. I guess I need to start getting orgainzed so that I am ready... I also can't belive I only have 5 working days left (I soon will be driving my co-workers crazy). I have to try to figure what to pack since the weather is so crazy down there right now. It looks like it could be between the 50's and the 80's while we are there..

An extra day is always good Where are you staying that extra night? We have a ten hour drive without stops also and are staying over in Kingsland, GA.

I doubt it will get very cold. I checked the weather yesterday and it's like in the 80's!! Maybe in the mornings and evenings it might get chilly and yes, it's always good to have an excuse to buy more WDW stuff

That's a long wait you've had!!! I bet it feels unreal now that it is about time to go!!! I wouldn't worry about the weather too much, it seems like it's going to be hot next week and the week after. I am just bringing some short and long sleeve shirts and a sweater and a fleece pull over for the kids. You can always buy something there right?!?

I know, I have a feeling it will get pretty warm in the afternoons. I am making sure to bring short sleeve shirts and a sweater, but I don't think we will need jackets or anything. We only have 12 days left until we leave and I am trying to pack some everyday. My goal is to be ready one week before we leave which leaves me 5 days. It's not too hard because I work at home but I just have to keep off the DIS if I want to get anything done

I haven't been to O'Hana's in a couple of years but it's a nice place and we had fun! Is that your first dinner at the world?

I really needed this thread right now. I'm on break from school, so all day I just looked at WDW menus and I'm pretty sure my DBF thinks I'm crazy! I've been to WDW 12 times since I was 9 (I'm 19 now...) but this is my DBF's first REAL time (stopped in a couple of times when he was much younger; still don't understand how you just "stop by" ), so I'm excited to show him everything my way !

Thank you for posting this so I can let out my without my roommates thinking I'm psychotic!! YAY!

Leaving in 16 hours. can't wait. We were just there in April for a week. I don't know why we are so excited. This trip we received a upgrade to AKL Savannah view room. We didn't even have to pay extra. We had a code attached to our name, so we are really getting a good deal. I can't believe we received an upgrade for the week of December 30th for 6 nights. We have never been to this resort before, but we have heard so many good things about AKL.
