I am going crazy doing the South Beach 2 week start up.
DH is sledding & I'm eating cookies. I'm so weak!:sad2:
 
My new years resolution this year was to eat healthier and be good to myself. I've been doing pretty darn good, though I do allow myself to indulge now and then. Doing it once in a while helps me from doing it every single day.

I am sooooo tempted. My aunt and cousins just came to visit and the brought cookies, from my favorite bakery. Luckily, all that is now left are ones that I don't love. Mind you, they are yummy, but not my fav.

Believe me, I DO understand your pain BUT...nothing tastes as good as thinner feels. Stop with those cookies. You ate some? So what! Just don't eat *any* more!

I know you can do it, I KNOW you can. Post on here *exactly* when you stop eating them.

I just saw your new Tags on the britches thread & commented. They look really good on you:thumbsup2

I only ate 4 & stopped. Dh & I are both doing the SB. I think dieting is harder than quiting smoking which I did 4 years & 20 lbs ago.
 
I agree! Changing the way you eat and drink is HARD! I quit smoking waaaay easier than trying to quit soda and my coffee...

I'm on Weight Watchers and I'm doing the core plan. I'm doing ok - I'm highly anticipating tomorrow will be VERY tough. It is snowing/sleeting/freezing rain here and if I don't have to work (I teach - looks like another snow day is in the making) I am going to be home with my kids ALL day.

I know we'll bake something - brownies or cookies - plus just being stuck inside makes me want to nosh! So if I am off, I will be exercising in the morning before DH has to venture out into the junk, that way I will feel better about the noshing...

I just try not to feel guilty if I eat something that is not on core. I use my flex points - and if I go over, then I go over. This is like the one billionth time I've started WW in the past 2 years - I have finally realized it is a journey into a new lifestyle and there will be good days and not so good days, but I'm not going to say I'm cheating and I'm not going to put myself down for having something sweet or a bit fattening.

Me! I've put on about 10 lbs over the winter and I refuse to buy new shorts to go to WDW in March. So, I really need to fit into my old ones. :rotfl: But--since it's snowy and cold, I made goulash and even though I made my healthy version, I had two helpings. More time on the "dreadmill" tomorrow, I guess. Ick.

I've never been overweight before so it's really hard for me not to eat whatever I want whenever I want. Ah, well, I had a 43 year run of being able to do that--I just need to pay more attention.
 
I'm going to WDW this Christmas with my skinny SIL...need I say more.
 
Eeek, I'm such a cheater.. I ate not one, but TWO rice krispie (I have a feeling I didn't spell that right..) treats today. =]
 
:lmao: I was feeling so guilty about my cookies & I find out DH cheated too.:lmao:

He stopped at his sisters after sledding & she gave him a Pepsi. He didnt even think anything about it until he started telling her about South Beach! Then he looks down at his soda.

The first 2 weeks of South Beach are sugar & carb free.
 
Today I was very BAD on my diet (low carb)....I Went to TCBY and got a kids size cup of no sugar added Vanilla Ice cream, then went to Burger King and got a Warm Apple Pie :love: - proceeded to dump Ice Cream onto Pie and had Apple Pie A La Mode for lunch I work in a mall so I ate from the food court.

Tomorrow is another day and I WILL do better! Back to Phase I...I must re-motivate myself.
 
I've been cheating since the day we got to WDW... and that was one month ago! :rotfl:
 
My mom is cheating. We joined WW and had our first weigh in this past Tuesday. I lost 3 lbs and she gained 2.:rotfl: She normally doesn't eat dessert but had eaten 12 of the Weight Watchers desserts last week. She told me if she gains again next week that she'll have to quit because think of all the WW desserts she could buy w/ the weekly fee.:lmao:

I must add, DH and DDs had Cheesy bites pizzatonight and I had a Lean Cuisine
 
i tried doing the Special K diet and i just couldn't handle eating a bowl of cereal, a granola bar, and one meal a day. i was going crazy.
