Not being one to suffer from seasonal allergies, I suspected that something was amiss after my 137th consecutive sneeze.
Oh, no. That sucks.... uh... considering your condition, I'll change that to:
Oh, no. That blows.
I assured Bryan that I was 100% healthy while clutching the tissue box, and we left the room.
And I'm sure he bought that, right?
Surprisingly we didnt have the bus to ourselves.
I'm guessing there was a driver too.
As was the trend on this trip, the monorail stalled more than once, but we managed to make it to the Poly in plenty of time to check in for our breakfast ADR.
Maybe there was a squirrel on the rail again. Have you seen that video?
I can't post it 'cause I'm at work and we can't access youtube... but google squirrel on monorail at disney and that should do it.
Since I was still sneezing, coughing, and generally feeling horrible I wasnt in the mood to have my photo taken.
But I'm sure your hair still looked great.
She triumphantly returned to us with 4 new leis-one for Bryan, one for me, and two for her (though as I recall, she ended up keeping all 4).
Just surreptitiously take the cost of two leis out of her college fund.
That'll learn her.
While we were eating Maddie began wondering how her very first meeting with the infamous Stitch would go. For some reason she got into her head that Stitch might eat her pen, so she was very anxiously awaiting his visit.

At first Stitch appeared to be on his best behavior, but once Maddie mentioned that she feared hed eat her pen-he perked right up. After posing for photos, that silly Stitch grabbed Maddies pen and took off with it. Maddie thought that was the height of comedy and giggled uncontrollably until he returned with it. He was very apologetic, so Mads forgave him.

Classic. Fist to mouth pose. Boy you sure can tell she's excited.

Maddie leapt out of her chair and ran straight for Pluto. She grabbed his hand, and didnt let it go the entire time they were marching. Watching her parade around the restaurant so proudly clutching Plutos hand was great. She exuded pure joy. This was the reason that weve stood in so many character lines, sat through so many character meals. This was the good stuff. This was why we take her to Walt Disney World. It was perfect.
Awwww....
You know those people (and we all know who those people are) who say you shouldn't take kids to Disney until they're old enough to remember everything?
Maddie loved it, and is already requesting it for the next trip (shes given her father a choice. We can either go for spring break or summer break. He hasnt gotten back to her on that).
But it's nice that she was kind enough to give him an option.

Wed be spending our last day at WDW at the Magic Kingdom.
Can't wait to hear about it. Hope the sniffles didn't put too much of a damper on the day. Thanks for the chapter Shanuffles.
