Who here talks to the characters?

This is a funny question because I remember that I used to talk to characters when the kids were little, but once when my son was in middle school, he got really embarrassed when I said something to Peter Pan and I never did it again!

My DD had a great conversation with Snow White and her Prince at MVMCP last year. They talked about clothes, castles and where to find Snow White's friends (the other princesses).

Sure I talk to the characters. All of them as a matter of fact. I get just as excitied over them as a child would. I love any kind of fun interaction with them. I embarrase my youngest DD by singing to them. :rotfl2: last spring I sang Hakuna Matata to Timon and he started dancing. I loved it!!! Got it on tape. It is really great when you catch things on video tape so you can watch it over and over again. :thumbsup2

When DD17 and I were at Disney for her 17th Birthday celebration & MNSSHP, we spent a day at MGM. We were waiting in the line to see Chip and Dale...now mind you DD is an interesting character herself...C&D caught a glimpse of her as they came to the line and when it got to be our turn, they made over her...they played with her hair and hugged her. Then it was my turn. While Dale was signing my autograph book, Chip and I danced around. We got back in the line as they were about to leave to see Raffiki who would be there next. When they left, they saw us in the line again and came back to hug us...We got kisses to. It was fantastic interaction.

On the previous time DD put her foot in her mouth after meeting Dopey in Germany at EPCOT. SHe told him he was dopey...and he was acting sad, then she hugged him and made him feel better. She almost cried because she made him sad...it was priceless.

Now that I'm back, I get to reply to my own thread. I met Alice at the back of the toy store at the UK pavilion. I told her that I agreed that I didn't see the use of books without pictures or conversation. We discussed the lack of her ride at MK. I was going to ask her if she didn't like all the attention the princesses get, but I forgot.
