Congratulations to those of you that got accepted, more money for Disney in your pocket!:dance3:

You're not alone! I didn't get accepted either. :( I feel so unloved!:rotfl:

DznyFan: send that clutter fairy over here... but make sure she gets a MUCH bigger wand first!

A funny thing happened at WalMart today. I was in the craft aisle - the local store doesn't have a craft department, just the one aisle - and a guy walked up to me and started talking to me. He was attractive and real smooth, I thought he was trying to sell me something. Turns out he was trying to pick me up! In the craft aisle at WalMart!! If it had been somewhere else maybe it wouldn't have been so ridiculous, but all I could think was, "So is this what you do all day? Hang around the WalMart craft department cruisin' for the ladies?" Where's that How YOU Doin? smiley?

2x....Shamrock shakes are from McDonald's! The one from Jack in the box sounds really good, but we don't have any of those around here.

Lin....We'll have to look out for your DH lurking on our thread! You won't be able to say anything nasty about him anymore!

Hello all!!

I have to tell you about our shopping trip this weekend.

Briana and I went to Pottery Barn to pick up the bedding she decided on for Lilly's nursery. We went Saturday and got some stuff then had to exchange one thing and pick up more on Sunday. Sunday my mom went with us. Well, we were talking to this one salesgirl when all of a sudden she has this really weird look on her face and is coming toward me around the counter. She reaches for my necklace and asks "where did you get this!?!"

It took me a second to remember what I was wearing...it was a simple chain with a charm. The charm is an old Walt Disney World one. It has the old grid globe with ears. So that got us started talking. She works 4 jobs right now. She manages a CPS's office, works at TDS, Pottery Barn Kids and is temporary casual at the Art of Disney in WDW!! Is that not the coolest!! She flys down about 3-4 times a year and works for a few days and gets all the discounts!!! I need to do that!!

Apparently we were annoying the other customers. I didn't realize it, cause I was talking:rolleyes1 ( I know, so what else is new?) but my mom said other people would get in line behind me and eventually, and with lots of eye rolling, would get out of line and find another register. We spent about 45 minutes!! Now we were also taking care of the exchange, my purchases and one thing I wanted, they didn't have in stock so she had to order it for me online.

I had such a good time talking to her and as I was leaving I was thinking I have to tell all my cliquers about her....they will understand!!

Zach and his mom are kind of pushing Briana to let them take Lilly for regular visits. Like Bree would have her Sunday, Monday, Tues, Wed and they would have her Thur, Fri, Sat. Bree isn't really ready but she doesn't want to be 'mean' and say no. I told her I think Lilly is WAY too young to start this. Taking her for occasional visits is one thing but I'm not ready for that.

I'm afraid that Lilly is going to get confused about who is her mommy.

What do you guys think???

Many thanks for the pixie dust! They had their final dress last night, she didn't get home until midnight. I figured she wouldn't sleep good last night, so we made an executive decision for her to sleep in this morning and not go in to school until she woke up on her own. She made it in to school around 11:00. She's in good spirits, not cranky or snippy - ready to go! I was working backstage yesterday evening and got a sneak peek at a couple scenes - awesome!

Yeah...very good report!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

OH...Michele...I agree. I really think her mom is what she needs. I hope they understand.

Well, I'm kind of possessive, so I'd lean on the "not yet" side of things. She's AWFULLY young to start with the ol' 'shared custody' setup. She needs her mother. I think it's great that he and his family is involved, but I agree it could turn into a confusing situation for her.

Michele: About the visitation... I think it's great that Lilly's dad wants to be a part of her life, but I have to ask, is it his idea or his mother's? If I were you, I would contact a family law attorney and find out what the guidelines are in your state for visitation of non-custodial parents. There should be a schedule in place right from the beginning, so that everyone's intentions are clearly understood. You will want to get this all hammered out now while she is still little, before it becomes a big deal as she gets a little older. Both of my kids, especially Lyzzie, spent time split between households. (Emma only for a few weeks until the scheduling became inconvenient for her dad, but that's another story.) Lyzzie never had a problem knowing which was "her" house... but I did have problems with her grandparents wanting her all the time because I didn't really lay down any rules from the start. Anyway, I discovered during my annullment process that each state has guidelines as to what the visitation should be at certain ages - this information might even be available online. It is what the courts use to help determine visitation, but I think it would be helpful in your case just to get an idea of what is "normal" at her age as to how much time she spends with the other half of her family. I think I'm rambling a little bit, so I'll stop now. Does any of this make sense? BTW, that's so cool that you met another WDW fan! I have never heard of that seasonal casual work arrangement, where can I sign up??

I also wanted to add that when Emma was 2 months old, the guidelines here suggested no overnight visits. I think it was up to 4 hours at a time, twice a week. Of course these rules are not set in stone, but they are there for a reason and I think it's a good idea to let Lilly see her family, but I agree that 3 days every week is WAY too much.

How cool! I would love to do something like that! Next time you go there get details!!!! I want to do something like that for the discounts!

I think Lilly needs to be with her mom right now, she is just too young and might get confused. Give the little princess a hug for me.

Errrrrr......I had a bottle of red wine on top of the refrigerator and when Madison opened the fridge door it fell and broke all over the granite counter top, into the cabinets, on to the floor. What a mess!!! :sad2: Thank goodness it didn't fall on her head!:scared: My house smells like a wine shop now.:rolleyes1 The funny thing is that no one liked the taste of it, but it cost too much to just throw it away, now we don't have to worry about it anymore!

Thanks, I knew how I felt about it but wasn't sure if I just didn't want to share her.

A friend of ours is a judge...I will have Blake call him and see what we need to know.

How cool! I would love to do something like that! Next time you go there get details!!!! I want to do something like that for the discounts!

I think she said that you have to work there for 6 months to be Temp Casual. But that since she had worked at the Disney Gallery and on a trip basically camped at the casting building and begged ( her words:lmao: ) they took pity on her and made her only work for 6 weeks. She had to stay down there and work from Thanksgiving thru New Years one year. She has a friend that she and her husband stay with when she is working. She said the friend is really great about it and as a trade off has a list of "Honey Do" projects for the husband while they are there.:rotfl:

Well you got rid of it now!! It didn't crack or nick the granite did it??

Have a great one!!

Lyzziesmom- Great pictures of the girls! Betcha never thought you'd meet a guy in the craft aisle at Wal-Mart, huh? :rotfl:

Pozey - I hope you get to feeling better soon! I was surpised to read contacts for Chase - at such a young age - wow!

Lin - kids running around on TOP of a house - did I read that right?

Ashley - odd story about Ruby... I wonder if dogs can have nightmares? As for the insurance thing - perhaps his group coverage doesn't allow for dependents. Good luck with working everything out. Do you guys have Blue Cross/Blue Shield out there? They do have individual policies available out here. Health insurance is SO expensive (and confusing!) Your pics were so funny! :goodvibes

2X - good to see you!!!! You did the right thing, I think, in turning in the snack bandit this time.

Later, ya'll!

Hi everyone :)

Lesa, OFCOURSE you aren't on my ignore list!! Nobody on the cliqueless is. It is just two people who I've always been annoyed with because of their 'holier than thou' attitude and honestly I think I'm just PMSing. :thumbsup2 (not a thumb to that, but not directed to you;) ) Sorry about the bottle of wine!!!

Michele, I agree that Lilly is way too young for that type of visitation!! It's a good idea to call the judge. I would want these details in writing ASAP but thats just my personality, I've seen one Lifetime movie too many  What bedding did you get at pottery barn? I admit I always go into the baby aisles and plan nurseries in my head :rolleyes1

Lyzziesmom, you hot woman you ;) Did you get his number????? :)

DznyFan, actually Blue Cross/Blue Shield is what Jeremiah has. They told me to go on their website and they listed prices but it was hard to navigate for me. When we called they just said all the info is on the website :confused3 Maybe we just called a lazy person that didn't feel like talking!!!!

grrrr.... My director in Mary Kay called me earlier and asked me about buying some inventory. I told her I wasn't comfortable with buying it now. She then said I wasn't committed to MK, that I didn't have any stock last time I was in it so what was going to change. She talked some more about not being committed, blah, blah, blah, about how her unit was in the top 15% or something and I needed to be a good seller too. I was near tears. I wanted to tell her that I just want to sell to friends and family, but then I'm sure she would have said that I was really not committed. So tomorrow I am going to talk to the girl that signed me up and tell her I'm not having a debut or anything like that, I'm going to do what I planned to do, just sell to friends and family.

Lyzziesmom, you hot woman you ;) Did you get his number????? :)

Actually, yes I did! I just took it and didn't offer mine in return -- he gave me his number without ever asking me my name! :confused3

The next time she tells you you're not committed, you should just tell her, "Nope, I'm not." I bet that'd shut her up!
