Emma called Steven grandpa:hug: poor girl. She probably just sees every male as a grandpa b/c that's what she's use to! She is too cute!

Ashley... Jeremiah "mom, I found PEZ":rotfl2: he's rotten! I bet it does make you smile though ;) I wish I could have saw Emma doing that. I bet she was so excited:laughing:

dznyfan and pozey...you're making my mouth water w/all this talk about filet's and steaks!!!!

and wanting to go see a B&B show!!!

These pix of Lilly just make you want to pick her up and snuggle up w/her in your arms:cloud9: she is so precious!!!

Hi Linda :yay:

I already said Hi to you today but I'm saying it again. ;)

Did I tell everyone, Jeremiah is playing hooky today. :cool1: Isn't it fun to be bad!!! :teeth:

Hi Ashley! He's playing hookey huh:confused3 I think you should punish him for that
nono.gif
:rotfl2: j/k...it sounded good:teeth:

I'm leaving early today. 2 1/2 more hours:woohoo: I'm glad I get to leave early, but not the reason why. Mikes great uncle passed away, so we're going to the calling hours.

I did NOT want to get out of bed at all this morning. I was so comfortable and warm...:cloud9: I guess I can sleep in tomorrow:rolleyes:

Yes! it is fun to be bad!!! :cool2:

Have you guys ever been to Cedar Point? I know Jeremiah likes the coasters... CP has the best coasters ever!!!:cool1:

Linda, No, We've never been there...I've heard its awesome though!!! I'm sure Jeremiah would love it. How far are you from it? I've been to Ohio before....We drove there from Pittsburgh and went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Football Hall of Fame. It was fun!!!

Sorry about Mike's Uncle.

50 miles!! It takes me longer to get to work in the morning than it does to drive to Cedar Point! I've been there tons of times since we're so close. If he loves the coasters, it is definitely the place to go! They always get tons of awards. It doesn't have the magical feel like Disney ...but it is for thrill rides.
It is a ton of fun!

You're always welcome to come stay w/us and go up there sometime.

Can you believe I live in Ohio, and I've never been to the RnR Hall of fame or the football hall of fame:rolleyes1

I've been tons of other places in the country, but not much in Ohio:laughing: except the amusement parks of coarse! Geagua Lake is great and so is Kings Island..but Cedar Point is the best for coasters!

We knew his uncle wouldn't be around much longer. he had cancer REALLY bad through out his body for quite awhile and in the hospital a lot.

Linda,

Hmmm...I wonder how far a drive it would be!! It would be fun to make a weekend trip. I know Pittsburgh is about 2 1/2 hours away and I think Cleveland was a short time away from there...:scratchin <--- thats my new favorite smiley!

Linda, sorry about Mike's uncle.
Thanks Amber:hug:

Most definitely a fun weekend trip! Our house is about 3 hours from Pittsburgh. Then we're an hour from Cedar Point. I love that smilie too:teeth:

Linda: I have never been to Cedar Point but I've always wanted to! Maybe in a year or two, Lyzzie will discover that she really IS a coaster girl and then watch out, because we will hit every amusement park within a day's drive! Of course by that time, I might start feeling too old for coasters.... nah! That's too bad about Mike's uncle, but it sounds like his passing may have been a blessing if he was that sick. At least he's not in pain anymore.

Ashley: That's SO funny about Jeremiah yelling about Pez!! I haven't even met him and I can just hear him doing that. What a stinker! Just think, you will be able to meet Lyzzie in just a couple months and see where Emma gets all her silliness from. Lyzzie has promised me she will ride Everest this time, in fact she's very much looking forward to it. But I can't convince the girl to try Space Mountain - too bad because I know she would LOVE it if she'd just give it a try. Will you guys have a car when you are there? I was thinking rather than renting a car for a day at Universal to meet up with you, I might just ask you to pick us up for the day. We can talk about it later, once your plans are more in place. I'm getting so excited!!

I went to the mall at lunchtime today, and of course I had to stop by the Disney Store! I picked up a cute picture frame and almost got Lyzzie a snowglobe, it was on clearance for 1/2 price and it had Mickey & Minnie on a sled inside, but it said 2006 really big on the front. I know she wouldn't care, but I was thinking of something for her Easter basket & that would just seem like a weird think for the Easter bunny to bring - she's still a big believer. I was hoping to find a princess dress for Lyzzie but no such luck. She does have an Esmerelda dress - isn't that the girl's name from Hunchback? Or maybe it's Megara from Hercules, I'm not really sure. Anyway, I was thinking of surprising Lyzzie with a BBB appointment, and of course you gotta have a dress. I personally think they tart the kids up way too much, but she loves the pampering, and with the AP you can get a free picture there too.

Sorry for the rambling, I'd better get back to work now! Hi to everyone else!!

PS: Michele, has anyone called you Grandma yet? ;)
My mom couldn't stand it, that's why she is Grammy. Actually I teased her and called her Granny for a few days, that's what HER Grandma was called and she said it was for "old ladies" so of course I had to bug her with it... and somehow it turned into Grammy. BTW, I wouldn't be surprised if you often get mistaken for Lilly's mom, there's no WAY you look like you could have a granddaughter. Enjoy that sweet little muffin for us!!

I'd love to go to Cedar Point. Mike LOVES coasters, so I hope one day to make it out there.

When I was a teen my mom (who does NO planning for vacations ever) woke up and decided to go to Niagara Falls. So, we drove all day to get there, spent a few hours there (never went to Canada, long story) then she decided we'd go to Cedar Point. We drove to Ohio and she thought it would be more fun to go to Sea World instead. We went to Sea World and then she decided to go to Hershey Park. :sad2: Why we couldn't go to Cedar Point I will never know. :confused3

Oh, this was one of the better vacations we went on.

wow Amber...your poor mom couldn't make up her mind where to go! ;) sounds like what my mom would do. My mom would say, you're going to grandmas, we're going to Jamaica:rolleyes: . NOT FAIR! but we went to Cedar Point ALL the time...and all the other parks in Ohio.

You're all welcome to stay w/us sometime and go to Cedar Point...or of coarse we could always just meet you there, if you prefer ;) and give you a guided tour  It is a good time!

lyzziesmom, you're right, it was a blessing.
great, now I wanna stop at tds:rotfl: as if that takes much twisting of the arm!

I used to go to Cedar point all the time. I actually worked there 2 summers in a row, that is how Dh and I met!:) I grew up in Toledo. Yes, we have a thing for working in theme parks.;)

Linda, I'm sorry to hear about Mike's uncle. It sounds like it is for the best. Can I ask what the calling hour is?

DznyFan,

I went to the Reasor’s at 61st & Sheridan at lunch. They still had quite a large selection there. Most of the tenderloin they had averaged about 3 to 4 pounds. Most were in the $38 - $45 range, and they were cutting them up into about 4 steaks.

Count me among the people who would love to go to Cedar Point someday. I LOVE roller coasters. DW too. Colton will pretty much ride any and all roller coasters as well. Chase…………eh, not so much. He has ridden a few roller coaster type rides – Expedition Everest, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain – but he really isn’t a big coaster lover. I’m thinking Courtney is going to LOVE coasters as well.

you met at Cedar Point!!! How cool! I love the Raptor...I can't wait to take Kenny on it, when he's tall enough;) So much fun! I still haven't gotten to ride Millenium Force:rolleyes: I was pregnant when it first opened, and just never got to after he was born.

Calling hours is just the showing times before the actual funeral.
