Good morning, Crew!!! I hope everyone is doing wonderful today!!! So far no ice in my area, but predicting possibilities for this evening and through the night.
How about a little coffee cake this morning??

YYO-CinCofCake-350.jpg

I hope everyone has a Soarin' Sunday!!!!

Yum, Donna, thanks for the coffe cake!

Well, we watched Finding Nemo this evening, then Nathan announced I was in for a Spongebob movie marathon. YourMajesty, too bad you're not here to enjoy the show with me!!:teeth:

Where did 2x2s go? I thought she was coming back after her trip to Walmart?
She must be doing one of the weekend items on her list...sleep. What's up with that?:confused3

Donna...the first time I sat and watched SpongeBob was when the movie came out....several years ago. I was so thankful for my popcorn and butterfingers! It's just so stupid.....

2xcited...did you get your fleece/sweater?:rolleyes1

Some of you are starting to wake up!!!:woohoo: OK, they've moved the smilies around again!!!

lyzziesmom:: Hopefully your plumbing will get fixed today? I'll cross my fingers for you!!!
My jacket fits everywhere but my hips, too. I can zip it, but it feels a little snug.:rolleyes1

Yolanda:: Super news about your Disney plans!!! Isn't it wonderful to have a trip to plan?!!:cheer2:

Sorry to hear about Turtle Talk being closed. There is so much at Epcot I've never done...you guys are going to think I'm a dork. I've never been on Living with the Land.:sad2:

Nathan owns a lot of the different Seasons on DVD. What irresponsible parent let him buy those?:rolleyes1 :confused3

I haven't heard from 2x2s about her fleece sweater either. They are open 24 hours though!:teeth:

:lmao: :lmao: 24hours...:rolleyes1 Yep I don't know what's wrong with parents...I mean some have even taken their kids to stay in a SpongeBob kid suite?:rolleyes1

Hey Pozey and DznyFan...I think Julie Chin must have been reading the DIS yesterday. To avoid any comments she was wearing a baseball cap (2 wroks for you) with hair in a ponytail and snow boots!:rotfl:

Oh the shame with the smilies...they are on a daily rotation!

Michele...have you had much snow this year? Hey...I saw that you and Lesa aren't coming to the P&P party. I actually wasn't planning on getting a ticket until I arrive but hopefully they will still have some. Our you all planning on going to all the ADR's? Hope so.:cheer2:

We have barely had 2 inches all year. I think most of that came in October and November. This is crazy. Right now we are under a weather advisory, it is supposed to sleet today changing to snow tonight. We may get 3 inches.:confused3 We'll see. Of course since the weathermen have had nothing to talk about they are going nuts at the thought of real weather. They have people stationed all over the area waiting for something to happen:sad2:

I just keep laughing too! I haven't been such a trensetter since... well, ever! I'm glad everyone likes the sweaters and most of you can find them! We're going to look great! It sounds like Briana should go for the guy. I remember my male friends from hs that my mom liked... I avoided them like the plague. I didn't want to date someone that mom LIKED!

Linda: I resisted the crocs for the longest time, they are so ugly! But I love mine now, and own two pair. Three if you count my generic "starter" pair. They are so comfy and easy to slip on & off! I wore them for 10 days at WDW and although my feet swelled something awful (so much so that the crocs were tight and left hole marks on the tops of my feet) but I did not have a single blister. It was amazing!

I'm planning on wearing mine pretty much every evening. It's my only sweater I'm bringing for when the weather cools down in the evening. Possibly in the mornings too if they are chilly! Although compared to this weather, even the low 60s will feel wonderful.
We talked last night after he left. She insists that they are just really good friends.:confused3 He broke his collarbone playing hockey and is having a titanium rod inserted Monday, maybe she can help nurse him back to health.:rolleyes1 It was funny, we all watched Invincible last night. After he left even Matt and Nick were saying how much they like him.

I have the beige Crocs. I agree about them being ugly. But they are comfortable. I usually only wear flip-flops in WDW but I'm bringing the Crocs too.

I'm planning on the Mickey sweater being my jacket for everyday that is chilly.

Anyway... did you all see that Turtle Talk w/Crush is closed for rehab during our trip? How DARE they??? I really wanted Emma to see this, because she slept through it last time. And I wanted to see it again too, it was really cool!

I'm so disappointed that Crush will be closed. We missed it when we went in Aug, the lines were too long.

Living with the Land is one of my favorites!! We have to go. When we were there in Aug the kids didn't want to go the first day and the next time we went back to Epcot it was closed

Good morning!

It's snowing here this morning but at least it's above zero. It's a balmy 8 degrees :cool1: .

Well, I've been missing WDW so much lately that I got on and started planning a trip for our family the last week of November and first week of December. If my husband doesn't get this job he's interviewing for, we'll be able to do this trip. This company is taking it's own sweet time on the interview process so who know? Anyway, we would spend the week after Thanksgiving at WDW and resorts and then take the 7 night western Carribbean cruise the next week. Sounds like heaven to me! Anyway, gives me something to dream about.pixiedust:

Try and keep warm. Good luck to your DH.

Donna, thanks for breakfast!! Let me know if I need to pick up the jacket.

Have a great day!!

Michele...only 2" of snow...wow:confused3 I think we are starting to get our thrid batch of winter weather just since Friday...I hope it's not ice. Looks like OKlahoma City is getting blasted with ice right now. :sad2:

Michele:: Thanks for offering to get the XL jacket!!! I think I'll make do with the one I've got. :thumbsup2

Hey Pozey and DznyFan...I think Julie Chin must have been reading the DIS yesterday. To avoid any comments she was wearing a baseball cap (2 wroks for you) with hair in a ponytail and snow boots!:rotfl:
I saw that this morning! :rotfl: I was looking for the other girl that Pozey mentioned but I guess she was off today.

Yeah, I saw her. She looked like she was dressed more in tune with the weather today. :thumbsup2

My sister in Wagoner called and she's still in good shape, but she's liable to lose power with this next wave coming through. They've got a generator, they'll be OK. She asked me to keep my Golden Retriever's hair whenever I brush him out - she wants to 'spin' his hair into yarn and make a scarf for me out of it. :confused3
Once again....small world......I've got relatives that live in Wagoner as well.

My Aunt and Uncle own Modern Cleaners.

We had a blast out there.

And just about the time I was taking those pictures......it started raining. Yes raining. And the temperature was in the 20's. Then it started THUNDERING!! :confused3

WEIRD!!

weird weather but great pix!!! Looks like you guys had a great time!

Linda...I'm sure we can wear our sweaters if it's cool enough on Friday or Saturday! I'll go back and get the Pooh if I can't find the Mickey (Micken). I do have a red Mickey sweat shirt...maybe that will work? The crocs will be nice on the cruise! I keep forgetting about sper bowl Sunday. Glad Mike will be able to see the game. So are you getting the cashmere Mickey sweater?:rolleyes1
That's true. I admit, I am a total wuss when it comes to being cold. At work I rarely take my coat off! I wear my fleece liner there almost all the time. Its too darn cold! I can grab you a Mickey one if you want, and they have them ;). I think I like the Tink cashmere sweater better b/c the color pink...but Mike told me I should just wait b/c I'll see tons at wdw and on the cruise I won't be able to live w/o:scratchin yep...he's right!

I was taking Lortab (hydrocodone 10mg) every day, and I have switched to Darvocet - 1 pill at a time instead of 2. I usually switch off between them depending on my pain level, the Darvocet is for less pain. But I've noticed that neither seem to work much anymore, so I wanted to back down before I build up too much of a tolerance. I want to make sure they will work while in WDW, because I always have to take more due to the way I like to gogogo all day. I think I just feel cruddy from stepping down the amount of pain relief (and perhaps a little withdrawal?)

Mike is going to Phys. therapy and they gave him this elec. shock thing he hooks to his back that is really helping him...he was taking 750es Vicodin about every 4-5 hrs...now he's taking NONE and that was only a few weeks ago!!!! You might want to check it out. He was taking the ultram before the vicodin... Good luck w/the plumber!!!

Anyway... did you all see that Turtle Talk w/Crush is closed for rehab during our trip? How DARE they??? I really wanted Emma to see this, because she slept through it last time. And I wanted to see it again too, it was really cool!

:sad2: yep...saw that! Guess that will have to wait for our next trip ;)!! Sorry Emma!!

Nurse Briana ;) I'm sure he'd really appreciate her TLC!! good luck w/the weather up there! It has been a crazy winter so far. we did Crush but Kenny was disappointed and insists "we didn't do it" b/c he didn't get to ask his question:rotfl2: crazy kid!

She asked me to keep my Golden Retriever's hair whenever I brush him out - she wants to 'spin' his hair into yarn and make a scarf for me out of it. :confused3
Hmmm that's different ;) I'm not sure if I'd want that or not:scratchin

Donna..thanks for a wonderful breakfast!

Ok, when Kenny gets up from his nap, its off to Wal Mart in search of the navy fuzzy sweater:cool1: and take mom her taxes we did for her last night :)!!

Good afternoon everyone ! :wave2: Has anyone just come back from WDW? If so how was the weather? We have 2 more weeks to go and I am hoping for nice weather :beach:

lyzziesmom...have you ever tired Ultram. I did and it caused some nausea but I was just thinking of something to use when you are weaning down from the other meds.

Yep I've tried Ultram... it's basically just an anti-inflammatory and doesn't do a thing for me. I'm weird with meds, that a lot of them have little or no effect on me. Don't really know why.

A doghair scarf? Thats, um.... nice? :confused3

Roto-rooter is at my house now. I hope they can fix it & it's not too expensive. Mom said the guy pulled out a, um... feminine product that stuck in the pipes (but didn't cause the backup). Lovely. :crazy2:

We just finished watching POTC2. It made a lot more sense with the subtitles on! All that double-crossing confused me the first time around. Now I'm ready for part 3 - can't enough of my JD! pirate:

Gotta get Lyzzie ready to go to her friend's house.

I've been watching closely and it looks like it can be 80 or 60. :confused3 We should have a trip report soon from someone there right now! We are going in 19 days...so I'll be right behind you!:yay: I plan on watching the forecast and then adjusting for the cold and/or heat before I leave!

:)!!

Hey Linda...I sent you a PM about the sweater! I'm so glad to hear that the electrical stimulation is helping Mike! I think I may have had something like that at physical therapy...is it a tens unit? Ummm...it sounds like Mike knows your shopping habits fairly well....:rolleyes1

.

lyzziemom....hmmmm I think I remember the same thing being found in our pipes?:confused3 :rolleyes1 We just had a huge area of sludge mostly because the house was 50 years old. Hope it's fixed soon!

The ultram mostly caused me nausea...I'm wierd with pain meds too. Hope you are feeling better soon...or at least back to responding to the meds on our trip!

Well...I've been sitting her glued to the winter weather coverage with laptop in tow...I'm think I'm starting to get bed sores.;) :lmao: Maybe I will sign off for a few minutes and do a little housekeeping!

catch everyone later!

I just don't want to have to pack gloves and coats....... I am hoping for good weather and low crowds. Is that too much to ask ??:confused3

YM: I plan on overpacking as usual, and then probably rewearing the same 2 or 3 things (like a certain Micken sweater) as usual.

I stepped into the bathroom here at my parent's house to put away a hairbrush Emma had got from somewhere, and guess what I stepped in? A floor full of water!! The toilet had overflowed & I didn't know. Ugh - I'm so tired of water, I'm afraid to even take a shower thinking the showerhead will probably fall off.

Donna- Thanks for breakfast!

Yolanda-:cool1: Yay! Have fun planning your trip!

Lyzziesmom- I hope your plumbing gets fixed soon!

Pozey- Sounds like you had a great time yesterday! I'm glad Courtney didn't get hurt.

Dznyfan- That scarf sounds....unique.

Hi Steffali!

Well with all this talk of crocs and sweaters from walmart, I want to go get one even though I'm not going on the trip. I'll just have to wait until next year to see what we will all wear.:rotfl:
