Linda, glad to hear that Mike agreed to go to WDW more often. My Mike started by saying we could go each year for a couple days. Then HE suggested going twice a year (this is suppose to start next year). He was also the one to keep adding days to our trip.

I just realized... you see, I spend a lot of time on the DVC boards... I thought they told me I was now part of the "Clinique"... I've been patiently waiting for my free skin care samples for months.

Donna, thanks for the donuts. I had another rough night last night because Jeremiah & I were fighting (Its a long story, plus I come off bad in it... ) and I really needed some comfort food! As you can see, this hootie isn't used to being up this early! Well, I actually haven't slept yet. So I guess my hootie status is still good!! I layed in bed most of the night.

I heard that the x-ray machines that they use for checked luggage are really powerful and WILL damage film. You should put it in your carryon. Take it out of the canisters and have them all in a ziploc bag so you can take them out and have the security people hand check it. That should keep it safe. 10 days!!! How exciting!!!

That is exactly the advice I was going to give.

He finished his 2nd poster last night and started on his speech. I am going to write down some ideas for his speech today. Then he can finish it tonight.

Hey Pozey and Dznyfan...the weather was sooooooo nice today. It's a little early for such cool temps. Do you or your kids have allergies. Mine do and my oldest is really having a time right now.

Yesterday was absolutely fantastic day. I went to Sears at lunch and it was 70 degrees!!
And yes, we are having allergy problems in my house. I don't have bad allergies, but I have been sneezing a lot. Courtney and Chase (DS7) have it really bad right now. Courtney probably the worst. She gets extremely stuffy at night.

Linda::Super news about the Disney trips. My DH is always saying we will skip a year, but deep down I think he knows that ain't gonna' happen!!

Now I'll have to talk to him about cruises !! Maybe we can alternate years of wdw and dcl... one or the other every year...and then we can just do the "other" vacations whenever.... like Hawaii...or wherever he wants to go that would be awesome! Seems like before our trip this year I'd start planning a wdw trip and always end up going on the cruise instead for one reason or another then this year we were planning a cruise and ended up going to wdw....oh well..either is great!! Guess we should think about dvc! sounds like your dh must be pretty understanding about it though that's always good!! like you suggested...black and lacy !!!
your sis picks special outfits for everyday.... I do that too...like his power rangers stuff for MGM day when he gets to meet them...that kind of stuff...shew...good think I don't have a daughter!!! I can only imagine how bad I'd be about shopping for a girl!!!Hope the headaches get better...I've got the allergies too miserable!!!

All of the restaurants mentioned sound great to me--I'm easy. How many nights will we be?? Will we be able to fit all of them in?? We'll have to do Jellyrolls after one of our dinners, possibly.

that is so awesome!!! Thankfully Mike just lets me pretty much do all the planning and he just goes w/it that must be awesome that your Mike loves Disney too!!! twice a year.... ahhh...heaven!!

Nicole - we LOVE CP, too! It is such a moving performance. We've seen it four times - and the decision was made a LONG time ago that once she hit the upper HS (11th & 12th grades) that we would start the process of trying to get the choir to go. Although I fully expect to see her as part of the WDW volunteer choir (the green part) in a few years, I think this would be a great experience for the kids, and would look really good on a college application/resume.

Linda - Pampered Chef is a great idea - I'll have to look into it - thanks! That is so funny about how Mike handled the situation with Kenny yesterday - there's nothing like putting the fear of God into your children while they're still young enough that you can get away with it!

Ashley - 9 days!! Make sure you take any film 800 speed or higher out and put it in one of the little 'buckets' and they don't scan it if possible.

YM - yes, it's been beautiful here lately - I just LOVE fall...
except... I had to go shopping last night for some clothes for work. We don't have horrible allergy problems, but we all suffer somewhat - nothing worse than an allergy-induced sinus headache.

Jill - does your DH combine his golf and his Disney like mine does? The clubs go with us to Orlando, unless we're taking a cruise too. DD and I kind of like it, though - we have a 'girls day' and do whatever we want!

2x2s - isn't it great running into "Disney people"? And YAY to you for feeling better!

Michele - Happy Anniversary! yeah - you guys are quite the party animals. By the way - whats an MS open house?

I would think it would be a great seller...their fund raiser list is much shorter than the whole catalog but has the best sellers etc.... I think they get 50% of the $... not too bad! Now I wanna go next Christmas... MVMCP!!!

The speech is Thursday. I think they vote the very same day

The poster he made last night was very cool. He drew some mountains, and then he cut out the the letters to his name (big and bold), and glued them on the mountains, like the HOLLYWOOD sign in Hollywood. Then he drew what looked like spotlights on the ground. He glued on some stars and put sprinkles all over it. It was really cool and imaginative.
