Hi everyone

Well I was a shopping fool tonight. I went to Dick's Sporting Goods to look for more Crocs, and look what I found!:

(note Ruby's foot, she gets insanely jealous when I photograph ANYTHING else besides her!)

Is it too dorky that I got those Croc jewerly things?? I thought they were so cute!! I actually cant believe I got a pair (or Jeremiah let me)- when we both first saw them we thought they were hideous! But they kind of grow on you!

I also got 4 shirts - A Pirates of the Caribbean shirt, a Lady & the Tramp shirt, and 2 other non-Disney ones!!! I also had to get accessories to match! Hey, Claire's was having a sale! I don't get nice accessory jewerly, because they always get lost or broken, but they are going to look cute with my outfits!!

DH also got 3 new shirts too. OH, and I got some make up! All thats left is my haircut, and I'll be ready to go!!!

Lyzziesmom: I am so excited for you!!! Gosh, I would be 'too excited to sleep' too if my trip was that close!

2xcited: Hope your doctors appointment goes well tomorrow..I've been wondering where you were!!!

Nicole: Good luck with your surgery tomorrow, I'll be thinking about you!!

Ashley, I like the color of your Crocs; I may have to get yet another pair. I like the accessories. How much were they (if you don't mind my asking)? I have seen them on ebay, but with shipping they get kind of expensive.

Donna, those look so yummy! I'm trying to eat healthy, but would have much rather had a cinnamon bun than my bagel.


I heard back from my (former) TA. She said that I have to wait 1-2 billing cycles, before anything can be done about the refund. She says that Disney can't do anything about it until then. Disney can't help much because since it was booked with a TA, they can't see my reservation. I just want to scream!

Amber - CONGRATS on 1,000!!

Talked to DH earlier. Things are in motion for MIL to be moved here by the end of October. She will live with us for awhile until she finds her own place. I am kind of relieved the stay here will not be permanent. I love her bunches, but enjoy our family privacy. I was tring to put myself in her position. When I get on in years I would like to think DS and his famly would be willing to help me under those circumstances. I can appreciate her not wanting to be a burden, I would feel the same way.

Bless you and for being so kind and generous to your MIL, and DH. It's a shame all families can't be so hospitable. You're doing an awesome thing.

Ok girls...Amber, Ashley, Nicole....lyzziesmom....your trips sound wonderful...and 2xcited...your going too...who's not going...ME...POZEY...DZNYFAN....hey what's wrong with the Oklahoma people???

About the St. Louis construction thing----um yeah, good luck with that. Orange barrels everywhere. Maybe you'll be just waving at the Arch as you go by to save time. Have a good time in Chicago (and seeing Wicked --a real thumb) and have a safe drive.

funny story (OK, at least I was amused) the first afternoon he was over at the house, he asked me "Erin says her dad's got a gun?" (He hunts), I just smiled and said "yes, several". It was a lighthearted exchange - not really serious, but a great opportunity for me to subtly say "Don't mess with my daughter..."

Cute story. I'm putting all these stories into the brain vault, so that I can have some good things to throw out there when Courtney is a teenager.

Yep, we just went the past May, and before that, August 2005.
DW actually said something that perked my interest last night.......she said something to the effect of "We really need to look at buying into DVC." I'll get right on that!!

DznyFan---I guess this is what I do like about not being married or having children---I can come and go as I please. I do feel guilty though, too, sometimes towards my niece and nephew. "Aunt what's her name is going to WDW again?? Can we go??"

One more question before I head out. All you bakers out their in cliqueless land, I am in charge of desserts this weekend at a family bbq. My mom is making a peach pie, but I am making something as well. Since we are kind of "watching it", I was thinking of maybe just a couple of angel food cakes, maybe a chocolate one and a lemon one---from scratch of course. What do you think?? Any suggestions?? I love to bake, but to be honest with you, I really don't have the energy for something really fancy or time consuming. I thought these sounded nice and light and somewhat healthy. We will have a big dinner and by that time no one really wants anything really heavy anyway.

YM... Thanks I am trying to raise a very well rounded young man He is a great kid...it would be cool to see him in something ...tv, ads or something but I'm not willing to sacrifice his childhood for a bank acct... they're only little once! I'm trying to enjoy every moment possible. Before I know it... he'll be married, having kids and I'll be taking them all to wdw and on dcl!!

2x2s...of coarse it'll be at the wedding pavilion!! Nothing but the best of coarse!! Mickey was $450 an hour in 1997 so I can just imagine how much he'll be per hour in 2026!!! Yikes...I better go play the lotto !!

No, we've never been on DCL. We've talked about it. DW and I have been on a Carnival cruise and a Royal Caribbean Cruise. I, personally, love the mega ships. But I am sure that if we ever did do a DCL cruise, we would love it. But me and my family........we have LOADS of fun no matter where we go. I think it is because I act about the same age as my kids!!

I just got out of the doctor's and am over my parents' house right now because they live closer. Thank goodness for their computer, too. The dr. did not go well at all----so frustrating---but I am trying to shake it off until I find out what the next step is.


Anyway---Pozey-- you are cracking me up---you ARE desparate for WDW. I could do your makeup. Just let me know what color your below the knee length skirt is so that I can choose colors accordingly.

I had a client the other day who cruises alot and they just did their first DCL and she said it was the best cruise she had ever been on.
