Who has tried Fit Flops?

Macys is now selling Fit Flops, and every time I walk through there, I'm so tempted to buy a pair. But I don't want to throw away $50, either, so I'm curious if anyone has them?

Are they comfy? Do you really get a work out from them?

I'm just intrigued by the idea!

I work out a lot and I did feel it in my legs, gluts but didn't think I would! Try some on - I ordered mine from B&BW and I wear a an 8 and1/2 so I ordered a 8 since I heard they ran big. They are still a little big and I wondered if I needed a 7 even. You have the advantage of being able to try them on first!:thumbsup2

I like them but I don't love them. I forget to wear them a lot - I bought them in Red and I don't wear much Red but it was the only color they had. If I had a black pair I would probably wear them a lot more! I'm sounding a lttle wishy - washy! Probably not helping much am I?:)

I'm really tempted to get a pair too. I nearly bought a pair at B&BW but some woman came up to me every time I picked up a pair and told me they were "overpriced". Well I went home and looked up shoes that were the same general idea (mini-wobble board in the heel, etc.) and they were about $300. I think I'll take the $50 ones over the $300 ones. The more I think about it though the more I think that woman just wanted to guarantee she could come back for a pair later.

Well, if your legs feel it after wearing them, maybe they do work. Hmmmm. I'm still awfully tempted! Thanks for the response!

I'm just not sure that just because they make your muscles sore that they're actually "working you out", kwim? I haven't heard of these and I'm looking at their website right now. I have to say, I'm awfully skeptical. There's no "quick fix" to exercise.

But I do wear flip flops a lot and even if these come with good arch support that would be a huge plus for me. I do have to go to the mall soon, so I might just check them out at Macy's.

Yeah, it sounds too good to be true to be sure.

But I wear flip-flops all summer, too, and I like the look of these. And if they help with muscle tone at all, then it's just an added bonus. :thumbsup2

I am interested in the back support they say it helps with. I have back problems and am looking for something that will take the pressure off my low back.

The way there is a toe grip makes think these are mostly a reinvention of the old Dr. Scholl's sandals:

I'm actually more interested the Gel Thong Cushions I saw at the Fit Flops site:

I have a friend that bought them. She said she felt it the first times she wore them, but doesn't anymore. Who knows if they actually do anything.

I think they are ugly though. I'd rather just exercise.

Dr. Scholls are the most uncomfortable shoes EVER. Those wooden soles are harsh! :scared:

I wore Dr. Scholl's for years when I was younger. The problem came if I slipped out of the sandal & my instep landed on that high edge on the very back of the heel. Ouch! :headache: I'd be standing there in pain for a couple of minutes.

I've done that, too. I had a pair in college but they were so awful I think I only wore them once or twice.

OMG! Just seeing the picture of those Dr. Scholl's totally took me back to the 80's and them hurting my foot when I slipped out. :lmao:

I had a flashback to that feeling the minute I looked at the picture!!!:scared1:

Hmm...maybe I should remove the pictures before someone reports me to the Mods & I get points for posting hurtful pictures. ;)

Not to sidetrack.....but I bought jelly Dr Scholls a few weeks ago and LOVE them! So comfortable!!!

My boss bought those FitFlops. I couldn't even get my foot in them! (we wear the same size). She has very narrow feet and mine are a little wide. I wouldn't buy them.
