We had bad pizza at Pizza Planet a couple fo years ago. I am pretty sure it was not fresh but frozen pizza like Digiorno or something.

We had pretty good stuff and Pizzafari and Rainforest. Palio's pizza was just ok. The sauce was very different. Where else do people go for good pizza?

O.K., now I know this is going to sound weird, but I really like the pizza on the kids' buffet at the 1900 Park Faire character dinner at GF. The pieces are cut small, but you just have to take more of them! Oh, and the bread pudding with vanilla sauce is superb.

Sorry, Ned Land, you'll have to come to Chambersburg, NJ for the best pizza. All the great "tomato pie" makers from Italy came over and settled here. No one else compares. What they serve in WDW is NOT pizza, IMHO.

barbeml - PLEASE let me know where these places in NJ are!! I live in Princeton, and am DYING for a good pizza place. Conte's is pretty good, but I'm looking for better!! Living in NYC for 8 years spoiled me!!!

Hey there Princeton neighbor! If you think Conte's is acceptable, you are in for such a treat! DeLorenzo's is the top choice of many and has two locations in Chambersburg--one on Hamilton Ave. & one on Hudson. However, our favorite is Papas at Roebling & Chambers. The guy is in his 70s and has been making the BEST tomato pies on Earth forever. The crust melts in your mouth, the sauce tastes like sunshine and the amount of cheese is just right. I just ate dinner, but I could eat a Papa's right now!!

You do know where Chambersburg is, don't you? If not, fire up mapquest! (basically, take Route 1 South, exit at Market, follow signs to Chambersburg).

Mangia!

Trying to get decent pizza at WDW is as difficult as trying to get decent beer.

I used to like the veggie pizza at Pizzafari. I must have been the only one, because it's been discontinued. Nothing but cheese and pepperoni available now.

Wolfgang Puck's pizzas are really good. They're not traditional, though. I would love to be able to get some good traditional pizza at WDW.

Well, we actually ordered Pizza Hut delivered to our hotel last week when we were at FQ! It was delicious! And cheap! And we got free cinnamon bread sticks with icing for dipping!

We ate Pizza Fari at AK a few days later. Would eat there again, but not with the idea that I was going to have great pizza.

DH won't eat Pizza Hut! He hates any crust that's thicker than paper. He grew up around the corner from Delorenzos on Hamilton. I guess you can take the boy out of Trenton but you can't take the Trenton out of the boy! :)

Funny about the Princeton/Chambersburg thing. We live in Hamilton & going to Contes is a treat for us. I love the little pepperoni!

We'll have to try Papas soon -- thanks for the tip.

Gillian--My DH grew up on College Street around the corner from the old Trionfetti's! You are so right, you cannot take the city out of the boy! Hope you like Papa's--we are crazy about it.

Crockett's Tavern in FW has a decent pizza. Not as good as at home, but better than any other I've had in Disney. :p

Good pizza at Disney is tough to find, but good beer is just around any corner. . .EPCOT and AKL (Tusker--Amber Safari Ale) come to mind. Then, of course, there's the Crew's Cup at YC. So many beers--too little time!

Tess's Husband. . .although she agrees. ;)

As for the pizza thing--the Community Board mentioned a delivery place by the name of Giordano's. I've not tried it yet--hoping to get one soon. . .WDW pizza is awful--I haven't tried Wolfgang Puck's though--they don't deliver and when we're at DTD we're not looking for pizza! ;)

When was the last time you were at Pizzafari and found the Veggie Pizza discontinued? I'm sorry to hear that! I LOVE my veggie pizza and we had it there last August ('02) and enjoyed it. Of course, we were all having our weekly pizza craving at that point, so ANY pizza would have been good!

There is no good pizza in the state of Florida.

November '03 is when I noticed Pizzafari didn't have veggie pizza anymore.

WDWIG's menu, dated 2/03, still shows just cheese and pepperoni pizza. If that's all, I'd rather be at Flame Tree.

I also have to find out how to get a decent beer (besides Sam Adams, at least they have that) at Pleasure Island.

I loved that veggie pizza at Pizzafari! What a shame. We just tried several pizzas on our trip last week. I should mention, we have liked Wolfgang Puck pizzas too, just didn't have them this trip (maybe because there were no parking spaces at 7 pm Saturday night at Downtown Disney). We had Dominoes delivered to OKW one night, it took 1 1/2 hours and was cold. Not so great. We also tried Giordano's, and got the thin crust pizza. It was very blah, just basic white crust. Their stuffed pizza looked good, but we didn't try it. My DD's favorite was the triple cheese, triple garlic flatbread at California Grill. I got two small pieces of it before she took it away from me. Really really good, but expensive! Diana

I don't know about you but I do like Spoodles pizza. Also Barbeml I believe we have the best pizza down here in Hammonton, If you are who I am thinking you are maybe someday you and your hubby (D)can check it out with us!
