Who has school vacation days in early Nov besides Jersey?

Who else has school vacation days in early November? We have a day off and a couple of half days the week of the 6th. I can't believe it is only Jersey that has days off. We live in Illinois.

We're just west of St. Louis and the district here has Thurs and Fri, Nov 9 & 10 for Teacher Conferences. Think that's the same time as Jersey. We''ve been before during that time. After surviving Easter and having a great time, Jersey Week is nothing!

My DD has Wed. 1/2 day, Thursday full day and Friday Veteran's Day off. We are leaving late Tuesday afternoon and returning Sunday. I have not made the air resv. yet so if we can't get a good time out she may miss Tuesday also. We're in Kane Co. do you have Veteran's Day off?

I'm in NC and the only day off is Veteran's Day, and that may only be our schools as we live on a Marine Corps base.

The school district where I teach in Michigan does not have time off; however, my dd's school had Monday & Tuesday off of election week. I don't know if this is usual because she just started Kindergarten this year.

We have the 2nd Tues in November off for election day and Veteren's Day off.

Jersey Week will be the second week in November this week, as the State Teachers conference has been moved to the 10th and 11th.
