Who Has Gotten Married In Epcot

I think MK is off the table for our ceremony. It's just too expensive, and we'd have to have the ceremony too early, and I think that would just be too excessive.

So I was looking at other locations. Who has gotten married in Epcot? I've always thought that Italy was really beautiful. Would we have to have a morning ceremony if we decided to have it there? Is it available for intimate weddings?

The only locations listed for intimate are resort locations, but could we still have it in a theme park if we wanted to?

Hi! Unfortunately, Intimates are restricted to those four resort locations - probably to keep costs down, since hosting a pre-opening park wedding requires a lot of logistics.

Jonette A had a Custom in Epcot, I think in the UK gazebo, and Mary626 had one in Italy. See if you can Search on their names for trip reports (it's hit-or-miss with the search engine these days).

I loved having a wedding in Epcot, i can't recommend it enough! I don't know if things have changed, but last year you had to be having a custom wedding for the epcot weddings and could only have the ceremony in the morning (thus, our 9 am ceremony). I'm not sure about nighttime weddings in epcot as I never asked, but that may be an option too. Let me know if you have any other questions about having an epcot or italy wedding

Another custom Italy wedding here (courtyard)... it was amazing and we never doubted our decision to have the wedding in the park. In fact, that was the #1 determining factor to have a Custom instead of an Intimate. Our guests were so impressed to be in the park before it opened. It was really a special occasion for our guests as well as us. Plus, the early ceremony time allowed us to have a brunch reception and save $$$ on food and drinks. A lot of people ended up traveling home that evening. It worked out great!
