Who has been to Boma? Please come in!

My 2 girls are really picky eaters. But Boma is one of the places they love. We've been twice and will definitely go back again next time. I'm not a huge fan of the zebra domes but love the soups and the salads. My favourite is the Pasta Salad that we now make ourself all the time. So glad we got that recipe. Its a huge hit with everyone that eats it here.

I also had to give my 2 cents worth because we stay at AKL each trip and while I do like Boma for dinner, I couldn't stay there without eating breakfast at least once. It is the absolute best breakfast buffet I have ever eaten and a must each trip. If you can squeeze it in, or at least check it out one morning, I think you would be impressed as well. I will be there one week from tomorrow at 9:15! :cool1:

Boma is one of our favorites, a must-do every trip! The flavors used are nothing that will turn you away, and I am more than willing to try anything on a given night. The soups are no to be missed (even in 100 degree weather). Enjoy your trip!

Another here that doesn't like Boma.

Not that the food is bad, but as a couple other posters said, it is way to sweet.

Everything has cinnamon or fruit in it, including the meats. By the way, they no longer serve prime rib, it is a strip loin cut of beef, which is rubbed in cinnamon...yuck.
I can pretty much eat any type of beef, but I couldn't handle my meat tasting like Christmas. lol
My husband is a very adventerous eater and will eat anything, but he to had a hard time finding stuff to eat other than the kiddie station (which was very bland...to bland)

But as I said the food isn't bad, but everything, meat, veggies, potatoes, you name it has a sweet taste to it. Was just to much for us.

So take in mind that if you like this flavor you will love it, but if you like your food to taste like food and not dessert you may not enjoy it.

Good luck and have a magical trip!

My family of three loves Boma, for both breakfast and dinner. It is one of the few buffets on WDW property that we like. A plus is that there is plenty of food for adventerous as well as non-adventurous eaters. The variety is great, and everything I have ever tried has been hot (if it is meant to be), and well-prepared. I love their wine flights. Finally, I love the atmosphere of AKL and Boma. Eating there is a unique experience.

We are adventurous eaters. I have to agree with the previous posters that we do NOT like Boma. As a PP said, everything is either dead bland or over seasoned with cinnamon. ...and we like both African and Indian food (Sanaa is a HUGE favorite).

My fave restaurant! It is def. worth a try because there is such a diverse selection that there is something for everyone. I have only ever eaten there for dinner. I always want to squeeze it in twice.
