I am having trouble finding much info. on the spas around Disney. I found a listing in a Sticky of about 10, but I know there must be tons of others to choose from.

Can any one make a recommendation of a spa you have been to in Orlando? I would prefer that it be in the vicinity of International Drive, but that's negotiable.

We want to get mani/pedis before a wedding. We'll have some children with us if possible. We are not looking for a super elite type place, but more of a fun, laid back style place.

Thank you!

Hi! :) I know you mentioned I-Drive specifically, so if you want to stay in that vicinty you might do well calling around area hotels/convention centers. I do know what's around property however and not knowing how big a group you are (with kids included); I can recommend a few spots. One; if you need waxing or any hair processing done go to SalonSalon LBV. I used to go to one of their sister salon's in Orlando and used them prior to my wedding. They are great. For mani's and pedi's-- my girls and I (including my 5 yr-old flower girl) went to the Spa at Saratoga Springs Resort. They were wonderful! The only drawback is that the mani/pedi room is small so if you have a lot of little ones it might be stressful. My MOH and I hit Periwig's at the Yacht and Beach Club on a recent trip for pedi's and commented on how much more open the room is (just a consideration). If this is a pre-wedding thing- and you go with a Disney Salon/Spa- I recommend going for the upgraded package b/c they give you the bottle of polish for touch ups prior to the big day (and other "goodies").

Hope that Helps you some! Good Luck!!! :goodvibes

My mom and I had a mani/pedi at the GF Spa, and I had a hot stone facial and later a massage at the Spa at Saratoga Springs. I really enjoyed both spas, so make sure you go early to take advantage of the rest of the facilities. They were both so convenient to where we were staying.

I've been to a spa in Atlanta and on the Celebrity Solstice, and I keep comparing them (negatively) back to Disney!
