Hi everyone!!!!!!

I was just wonder what type of weather we should expect for our trip October 2 - 9th.... :confused3

We can hardly wait to go, but I have two wee ones and I have no idea what type of weather we should be planning for? We have a bit to go yet but Im a planning freek :laundy: :rotfl::rotfl:

Also, I havent booked the tickets yet for the water parks......should I :confused3 or will it be to cold?

Thanks so much for the info, loving my fellow DIS'ers! :grouphug:

We usually go in October. The weather should be hot during the day and 65 to 70 at night. If you want to go the the water parks it should be hot enough.

It will be hot. We have been twice now and will be there again this year from Oct. 6th to the 10th.

We plan on doing a water park.

Hot and humid! It's amazing walking out of your nice air conditioned resort and hitting the wall of heat and humidity. You get used to it, though. Crowd levels should be decent too, except in Epcot on the weekends due to Food and Wine Festival.

We were there in Oct. for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party which I highly recommend. I found the weather to be very pleasant but humid. We were able to walk on most rides as it wasn't too busy.
Enjoy!

The weather is much nicer then the summer. In the many years we have gone in October, we have expeienced very few rainy days.
Traveling with little ones is great at that time of year. Plan your restaurant stays early. We have always found the restaurants to be more busy, then in the summer months, especially now with all the meal package stuff.
Water Parks are great to visit in October! And don't forget the Halloween Party!
Enjoy!

we were there last year on colombus day weekend and it was HOT. we were at the water parks and wore shorts and t's every day. the evenings got a little cooler but it was still warm.

Remember to pack PONCHOS - it did rain a few times when we were there and even the kids sized ponchos were huge on my son (he was 1.5 yrs old though :))

We went to the MNSSHP and it poured rain but it was still fun to see the park all spooky - the kids made out like bandits with candy too ...

We were there last Oct 9th. It was hot and humid and we did get rain, but only in the afternoon.

October is our favourite time! Especially Thanksgiving so we can save an extra day of holidays.

The weather usually indicates rain or thunderstorms every day, but that usually means just a 1 hour burst around 3pm or so. The morning and evening are usually fine and sunny. Definitely warm enough for water activities.

I have an annual business meeting in Orlando in September, and find the difference in humidity between Sept and Oct is fantastic. Humidity in Sept is unbelievable (and I'm from Nova Scotia). Oct is much more pleasant.

Is weather at the END of October pretty much the same as at the Beginning? We are in Disney World from October 29th to Nov.1st this year.

The end of October starts to get a little cooler but still warm enough for laying by the pool and wearing short and T's. We usually go the first week of November and still find it warm. Only last year was cooler.

October is a great time to go.

October is my favorite time to visit! Not too crowded, whether seems to be descent, SOOO many activities with the Food and Wine Festival and MNSSHP. I really can't wait to get back there this October!

We usually go the first 2 weeks of November and still use the waterparks and find it quite warm during the days to wlak around the theme parks. The one time we went in October it was very hot during the days and perfect for the evenings.

Those are the days of my trip last year and we had sunny and warm weather the whole time. Only one day with the typical afternoon rain.

were going the 30th of september to the 8th of october. we have two small kids as well- a soon to be 4 yr old and 2 yr old. i havent been in october before but were skipping the water parks. even with a day off in between to relax, i cant figure out how to fit it in. just a thought!

The last three times we have gone was in October. The weather was beautiful and the crowds were reasonable.

We were at Disney last October and had great weather. Visited just before Canadian Thanksgiving. Very comfortable temps. Agree with those who recommend the Not So Scary Halloween party! I bought tickets for this on a whim and it turned out to be one of the best parts of the trip. The parade is great - my boys (6 and 4) loved trick or treating and got loads of candy (we actually re-gifted much of it to the neighbourhood a week or two later!) :)

I was there a few years ago 1-8 October - the weather started out sunny and warm everyday - anytime between 3:00pm and 5:00pm our "complimentary" thunder storm came through (and it can rain hard and be quite loud) but within an hour or so, the sun came back out everyday except one. We also went to Typhoon Lagoon and it was plenty warm.
