Who has been bumped from a cruise?

Dry dock or charter, what perks did DCL give you for the inconvenience? Just wondering if the "gift" were big enough to make you hope you get bumped.

I was bumped. We got a 4-day cruise for the price of a 3-day. Got a 2 category upgrade (Cat 7 to cat 5), Hyatt Airport stay for one night, Disney transportation from the airport to the port.

It was worth it.

I can see where this can be worth it, but...do you think it would it be worth it to you if you had your vacation schedule for a special event in your or your families life? Just curious to know. I think it might be worth it, at least the adults would understand. Right? Well maybe~maybe not. LOL I just pray I never have to find out.

We were bumped for dry dock. Nothing was offered but the chance to reschedule. There was plenty of notice (over a year).

We were bumped due to drydock. I definitely was not happy and wouldnt want it to happen again for anything, but I have to say Disney made it up to us big time. I was ready to swear off DCL for good, and I was very close to booking a Royal Carribean cruise instead, when DCL came through for us.

We were bumped from the Magic to the Wonder when it went to the 7 day cruise. This was our 1st cruise and I didn't want the 7 day because I didn't know if we would like cruising, now after four 7 day cruises I wish we would have taken the first 7 day. Disney gave us $50 onboard credit and gave us a CAT9 to make up for the secret porthole I had booked, and then upgraded us to a CAT6 right before sailing. Also offered to pay for any air changes we would have had to make, but our air was not yet booked.
