Who has been brave here?

Anyone been brave enough to link the Disney app with their dvc membership yet to combine the 2? I haven't. I just don't trust it yet and figured what would be the point cause I still need to carry my member card for discounts cause u can't link it to the bands.

I have linked my November AKV stay to MDE and my will call # for the DVC AP. I mainly did it because I want to try the new fastpass+ if it's available. You can't book advance fastpasses if not linked.

We rented pts from Daddio and hooked the ressie via MDE and were able to change names on the rented ressie without waiting for the original owner to make the changes.

If you did it, how did you do it?

I have an MDE account with my e-mail address. But my DVC member account has a "user name" which is not my e-mail address. I tried logging into my DVC member account with my e-mail address, and it told me that I had to link them using the one-time activation code that I got in my new member packet. But (a) I've been a DVC member for years, and (B) I used the one-time activation code when I set up the DVC member account. If "one-time" really means one time, then I shouldn't be able to use it again even if I can find it.

I had the same problem with two accounts and accidentally linked my DVC AP to one and all our hotel and dining reservations to the other account. If you IT help, they will have one account friend the other, pass all the information and then delete the non-use account (in my case this was the account with just the email, not the DVC member login). It was a pretty fast process and I didn't lose any of the information on both accounts in the exchange.

I did, but now have two accounts. One with my e-mail as login and one with my DVC user login. Both using the same e-mail. It's confusing to others trying to link/friend me.

I was brave! My MDE log in is the same as my DVC log in. I cheated though and had MS do it. I just sent them an email to link the two and they did. Works perfect.

Ya I did the same bit I saw today under profile that u vs link up the dvcmember login to the app but didnt know why really being that we can already do what u just said.

That was my exact thinking today when I looked at it. And I just don't think I trust member services doing it over the phone like it said to call cause they aren't the most computer inclined group.

I emailed MS and they did it for me.
