Who gets pins? How?

Who gets pins? Is there a list I need to call and be put on to get sent pins?

The best way folks know to get on the list is to sign up at the Disney website, make sure and check the box that says something about "send me info/promotional stuff", and then plan a few trips and save them. Do not BOOK them, just save a few different scenarios... like different travel times, different resorts, etc.

Tweak them a few times, and several people have said that a couple of weeks later they get an email from Disney Destinations with a PIN. Be sure and pick the time of year you are mostly interested in, because you don't want a PIN that isn't for your dates!

OKAY, thank you! I finally understand how to do it. Just saved 3 of our next vacations. Now to see if we ever get our first pin code!

The very first time I'd ever received a PIN was when I ordered my very first Disney Vacation DVD. It didn't really matter though because we didn't even go until the following year (2008) in which we booked in march and went in december. We did NOT receive any PIN codes at all for that trip (i even called at least 2-3 times a month for CM's to look me up!)

Well, since then we've received about 4-5 PIN codes!! (only cuz they know we won't be going back there for another year or 2) It's like if they know you're already going to be coming you probably won't get a PIN. Well that's just my experience with PIN codes so far.

Try Southwest, I just made a thread about it, but while pricing flights I put in the same thing that I reserved with my PIN code but it actually ended up being cheaper on Southwests website.

Two days ago I saved 5 vacations on the Disney site. Within 48 hours I got my pin code! I can't believe I finally got one. It's been 7 years since I've gotten anything like this from Disney.

Now I just have to figure out how to pay for the trip.

Isn't this ALL of our problems! A little hint.... TAX REFUND! I hope you get one, I know ours makes our trips possible.
