Maybe the flight prices to Detroit were the cheapest ones they could get

Who knows the reasoning behind it all.

I'm not really stressing about it but it just sort of struck me that coming from that direction .....

Tom and I are having our Friday card game on New Year's Eve. We'll have a traditional New Years dinner (pork & sauerkraut) and a pannetone bread pudding with a brown sugar bourbon sauce.

John and I are having an early dinner out with my Sis and DBIL tomorrow and John is making dinner for the family here on NY day~

Dont even know if we'll be out when the ball drops (we've slept thru them before )

I hope you all have a very Happy New year!....
We went to our favorite Italian restaurant (Cortese) with my DS and DDIL. Had a nice meal.Then stayed and enjoyed the band , brought in the New Year and went home at 1ish...
LOTS OF FUN!...

My New Years prayer is that this coming year is better then the last..Not to hard too do for us. Just a job for Mike would do it!

BUT we are very excited that we can still go to WDW..
Can only take one DGC, and can only stay for a week, instead of our normal 10 days...But we WILL be going. One night at POP, and then over to POFQ,( we couldnt get a reg. room at CBR, and the pirate rooms cost more...So we decided to save what we could and go with POFQ.) AND! It costs less to fly this year then to rent a car...so we are flying there...YEA!..WE found some GREAT prices and are all booked!...We haven't told David yet, but think we will today, when we go over for Mikey's Birthday party. He turned 11 today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKEY!

Well Im off to get more coffee and waiting for the Rose bowl parade to start!

Happy (belated) birthday to Matt! I didn't realize he was a tax deduction baby! I JUST woke up. For the first time in a LONG time I rang in the New Year. Tom and I had our friends over and played cards - stopped at midnight to toast the new year - and played some more!
