Hi everyone!
I'm caught up, but there was SO much happening!
I love London Broil and I'm not crazy about Prime Rib. Like, DU said - London Broil is a lot like a huge steak everyone shares. Prime Rib is usually cooked as a very LARGE chunk of meet and served sliced rare. It's okay, but can be very fatty.
Robin - I'm glad your dad is doing well! Good luck with the dancing!
PD & Kim - sounds like you have your future careers worked out. Kim, your life is crazy busy! Sorry I couldn't make your appetizer. I'm making a BUNCH of room-temp appetizers for this wedding.
Sewer - glad you made it through Prom week!
Hiya TW - Mary said she saw you on facebook when we were in TN. I didn't touch the computer. Sometimes I think it's her umbilical cord!
Hello to everyone else I missed!
Had an AMAZING time in TN with the sisters! Mountain City, TN is beautiful and Susan is building an amazing house - it'll be a show place when it's done! We also spent a weekend in Blowing Rock and had a GREAT time! We left the husbands in Mountain City and it was just the sisters....
I'm currently cooking for the wedding on June 27th. We've done all the shopping and are making the items that can freeze (the rehearsal dinner AND the wedding reception are catered by me - plus the cake). We've made:
Everything freezes beautifully and that's just two days of cooking! If I don't bore you and I have time, I'll keep you posted with what we've made. We're off until Tuesday because the brides mother (the wedding is at her HUGE house & in the yard) is going on a mini trip.
Ya'll take care and I've missed you!

I'm currently cooking for the wedding on June 27th. We've done all the shopping and are making the items that can freeze (the rehearsal dinner AND the wedding reception are catered by me - plus the cake). We've made:
- Five dozen mini sour-cream yeast rolls (for sandwiches). Need to make five dozen more
- 10 dozen carrot, onion, collard, parmesan rice timbales. Need about 5 dozen more.
- A pot of pasta sauce (for lasagna - I made the pasta for it - COMPLETELY scratch) for the rehearsal dinner....need to make one more - making 2 pans.
- A 9-inch New York Cheesecake (need to make one more)
- 2 Twelve inch yellow cake layers
- 2 Nine inche yellow cake layers
