DH is STILL sick with his cold. It's not getting worse, just lingering. I'm off to JoAnn's to pick up a few things.

Like everyone else, our weather has finally gotten nicer. It's 60 today - it's been in the low 30's and in the teens at night - we've tied a few all time record lows here! Next week, it's going to be 72-74... I can't handle the cold weather we've been having - ya'll are SO brave!

I hope everyone has a GREAT day and I'm thinking of you....

OK...I just got a call from my DDIL,
Rita, is on the mend.. ...They took her off the oxy. and she is breathing well on her own...her temp is down to almost normal....and she is drinking( which is something they could not get her to do the other day, hence the IV...)
So even without the doc being in this morning yet to release her the nurses are very optimistic..that she will be going home today...BUT it has to come from the doc...BUT..Its looking really good...

NOW Im on the run, as Im running late....

It is a much much warmer day here today.

It is actually quite a bit above freezing.

It's amazing how quickly the snow will melt when the temperatures get up over freezing.

There's still a ton of snow but at least I can actually see the pile getting smaller

Betsy - SOOOO glad to hear that Rita is doing so much better - yes DU i am MOST CERTAIN you had everything to do with her recovery!!!!

Robin - Ann how fun to end up on the same cruise!!! WE all loved the rainforest as well....i didn't think to take my camera - so hoping it's okay to 'borrow' your photos. This was the 1st cruise that i bought the week's pass...probably always will now!!!

Tigg...i'll let you know when i get serious about next trip -(just have a dummy date now) & see what you can do for us....Jen is ready for a Disney cruise so i'm totally in for that....but most likely will be '11 - with our last cruise, ry's hs grad, college & her wedding this year...i better take 2010 to SAVE UP!!!! $$$ that is...

busy day today....going to nephew's basketball game then to a bridal fair with Jen....busy - but ALL FUN and it looks like our rain has stopped....for how long though i have no idea...guess it's still better than the cold / snow so many of you have~

That's what I'm doing today.

Soon I will be home all alone (except for cats) until late tomorrow night.

Alex has to go for a few days for some job interviews and Rick and Liz went to Toronto for the weekend.

Liz gave her dad a weekend away as a Christmas gift. They are going to go to the art gallery.

So........ it's just me..... <~~~~ not really.

I will find something to do to keep me busy.

Oh, did I mention that we are planning on going to Florida in a few weeks.

The guys want to go and fly their airplanes again like we did last winter.

We are planning to rent a house (if we can find something).

The guys are going flying and the other guy's wife and I will be sticking around the house.

Liz is planning on coming, if she can clear her schedule.

Right now the plan is leaving on Saturday February 28 and returning home on Sunday March 2.

Mom is back in the hospital. almost lost her this am. Blood Pressure was 35/48!!!

Not a stroke, not sure if she had a heart attack, but her adema is REALLY REALLY bad. The just moved her to the cardio/Vasular center.

Going back in a 1/2 hour.

My Moms pain went away tonight. She is is Heaven taking care of the babies! Thats what she said she always wanted to do when she left this earth.

Aww, Andy, I'm so sorry to hear that.

It's good that she has no pain anymore but the ones she left behind sure have plenty to deal with now.

I hope there are lots of babies to take care of where she is now.
