Well I think Kim is turning into an Early Morning Killer oops I mean Dis'er......:eek: ;)

Mr.MouseFan, however did you sneak into my closet and find my dress? Now you've ruined my surprise. I guess I'll have to go shopping again. And love your look!

on page 2 again. come on guys. Post. Recruit new killers.

I seem to be a thread killer. It seems every time I reply to something the thread ends. :(

Cthia, first, I would like to share with you the words of our great theologian here, Buz. He said...

<B>"I don't kill threads. I am so gifted that I can express the original thought in such eloquent terms that no one can think of anything else to add"</B> ~Buz~

I also would like to remind you of what great company you are in...

I know this thread has been around for awhile, but I'm just getting around to responding.

I too am a thread killer.

Sometimes I actually worry about it. Is it me? Is it something I said? Does no one care about my opinion?

I'm not sure which is worse - killing an existing thread or starting one that gets no (or maybe only 1 or 2) response(s).:( I do that sometimes too, so I hesitate to start threads.

Been shopping today. And stopped by a few friends places. Trying to find *the* best outfit for this evening.

My friend Eddie Izzard may let me borrow this outfit. Not sure though.

Then I stopped by an aquiantence of mine, Charo, and tried on some of her outfits. But I'm not decided. Hmmmm.....

Still unsure, I stopped by Florene Henderson's house. Thinking retro might be the way to go. And she had a few things left over from her Brady Bunch days.

But then maybe casual would be best. And considering that my heel spur is killing me this afternoon. I thought a simple shirt and jeans would be ok. And found this shirt declaring my need for pain killers.

Decisions, decisions!!! :teeth:

Bunchkin, go with the Eddie Izzard design...we'll match! LOL

Ok.....be back in a few minutes with tonight's dinner presentation!

suzannen, how very unprofessional of me to expose your dress before tonight's festivities....please accept mine and Harvey Fierstein's apologies. :teeth:

Well, after Mr.MouseFan exposed my dress I went to find this wonderful red Charo dress I had my eye on but couldn't find it and now I see why - Bunchkin was already in the dressing room trying it on! Then I was going to just show up in a skirt and a tank top when I remembered that one or two WDW restaurants discourage tank tops and I didn't know where the Sci-Fi dinner fits in with that, so I'm still in my bathrobe and Jimmy Choo shoes. Does that work?

Cthia - you're in good company here! And, Dodie regarding

I'm not sure which is worse - killing an existing thread or starting one that gets no (or maybe only 1 or 2) response(s).

It's the age old "To kill a thread or not to kill a thread, to start a thread or not start a thread, that is the question..." And at that point we all wait for Buz to "express original thoughts in eloquent terms." (Oh, and for Bunchkin to feed us!)

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am proud to present to you, "An Evening with the ATKers at the Sci-Fi Dine In" at the Disney Studios.

<img src="http://www.misselizabeth.com/d1.jpg">
The evening started with a photo op in front of the Sci-Fi Dine In marquee. Passersby were "starstruck" as the ATKers posed for our photos and were simply in awe at the amazing sense of fashion we possesed as we showed off our campy finery.

<img src="http://www.misselizabeth.com/d3.jpg">
Once we entered the restaraunt, however, not a sole was aware of our presence as all eyes were either turned to the movie screen above them or on the delicious entrees before them.

<img src="http://www.misselizabeth.com/d2.jpg">
Our culinary experience began with a suitable starter. A wonderful Caesar Salad with fresh cut romaine lettuce tossed with a traditional Caesar dressing, topped with croutons and grated Parmesan. I almost choked on a cruton as I laughed at a scene from "Creature from the Black Lagoon".

<img src="http://www.misselizabeth.com/d4.jpg">
Next up on our epicurial quest for fine dining was the entree. And what an entree it was! Pan Seared Salmon with Wild Rice Pilaf, Sautéed Green Beans, and Lemon Caper Butter. The salmon was done just right! Not too well done and not over cooked. Nice and flakey.

<img src="http://www.misselizabeth.com/d5.jpg">
Unfortunately, just as Bunchkin was about to take her first bite of salmon, the woman in the car in front of us decided to turn around and ask Bunchkin, Suzannen and KimRaye a question. The woman was in such awe of their fashion stylings that she just had to know where they had gotten their ensembles. This fostered into a whole conversation about fashion over the course of the entire meal.

<img src="http://www.misselizabeth.com/d6.jpg">
As our evening began to wind down, we settled on a desert choice and, I might say, it was an awesome choice! Chocolate Kahlua Torte! Kahlua Mousse folded inside of Rich Chocolate Cake and finished with a Raspberry Sauce. To say this was a fitting ending to a wonderful "campfest" at the Sci-Fi Dine In would be an understatement. We all left with great big smiles on our faces and a renewed faith in our abilities to kill threads.

You're very welcome! After all the cooking you've done for us, it was time someone did the cooking for you! Very nice outfit, by the way! :teeth:

Mr.MouseFan, the dinner was superb, you showed exquisite taste in your selections and the company was superb (except for that annoying woman in that car who would not leave Bunchkin, KimRaye and myself alone!) It happens everywhere I go! Where did you get those fabulous shoes, that gorgeous dress, Yada Yada....so tiresome really.

I've now set my alarm for 5am tomorrow to run 3 miles on the treadmill to work off that yummy dessert!

Well thank you, suzannen! I figured the Filet Mignon would be too heavy. The salmon looked just right. The desert was a complete and total sin..LOL. That woman was a bit on the annoying side, wasn't she? I mean really...to ask where you got your outfit is one thing, but to ask how much you paid? Well, how totally inappropriate! :teeth:

Day is done...
Gone the sun...
From the lakes
From the hills
From the sky.

All is well...
Safely rest...
God is nigh.

'Night All! ;)

PS - I MISSED the campfest. :( (I sure wish that there was a POUTING smilie!)

nope...sorry....couldn't let it be Beth that killed it....;)

Nite all!!
