Word for the day: Penchant - My kitten has a penchant for Irish Coffee.

Nothing new here, many conference calls today. Wednesday's are like that. My boss approved my Education Assistance request, which means they'll pay me up to $4000.00 this year to work on my MBA. Class starts next Tuesday.

I'll confess - I am a pin trader! I am always on the look-out for cats... Si, Am, Cheshire, Figaro... etc.
I am in the process of putting together lanyards for my nieces for the May trip and managed to buy a batch from a reputable eBay for about $2.00/pin. I bought them solely for letting the girls trade.

Morning!!! We actually tivo'd part of AI - then watched it so we could skip the commercials...i LOVE David Archuleta - the 17 y/o from Utah...he is JUST so darn cute! & yes Betsy the last two singers were two of my fas as well- Jason (i think) with the guitar & Michael Johns - he sang an amazing Bohemian Rhapsody during Hollywood week....i don't think Chikezie will make it thru but not sure who the other one will be... i don't usually vote - but i did twice last night....

I Tivo'd too. What's up with the commercials? There were tons of them! They could actually fit all 12 singers into a one hour show. Companies must be paying a pretty penny to advertise during AI.
I never watch anything real-time.

I hope everyone is having a good day! Oh yea, if you hear some rumor about me and beer with Sausage Egg McMuffins... just ignore it!

Nothing fun. I've been working like crazy. We go to WDW in 3 1/2 weeks and I have tons to do before we go. Gotta keep the clients happy and make sure they are all set for the week and a half that I am away.

I just hired a new secretary, so am training her too.

yes, I have to admit it .....I AM A PIN TRADER!, boy i finally admitted it.

I got my DD into it when she was 6, but then I became an addict at getting the pins for her to trade....ebay, TDS sales, dollar stores that didn't know they had REAL disney pins, wholesalers.......and the list goes now.

So if you want a good list from ebay, just PM me.

I you want to make them trade....buy 100 of the same pin

I got a GREAT nights sleep last night....and feeling more like I can live a few more years....

AI, was good..they are finally singing whole songs....I think there are quite a few good singers in the mix....But boy that Simon can be brutal sometimes....
I liked the last two that sang the best...Dont remember names yet....

I can't wait to see the girls tonight!

I agree, If she could do her pacing outside,like she does in the summer, (going around and around my pond)..I dont think it would drive me as nutty as it does, in the house.....OR If I could go sit outside while she paced inside I could take it MUCH better....
She is still sleeping..right now, So I dont know how she will be today... Some days are much better then others...

I just bought a few of the pin sets ...As I need pins for five DGGs to trade...I bought three different sets...and we divided them up...So each, got three pins...Not much I know, but that still cost me a pretty penny....
Im going to go look on Ebay...to see if I can come up with a few more cheap sets...but three is a start..anyway, and the older girls still have some from the other trips...Im not sure if they are willing to tread them tho...

We don't trade pins either. Just collect them. The year we go we usually get a pin that says that year and we'll get a pin of the resort we stay in....yadda yadda. Right now we only have a few layards full of pins. I've moved on to mugs now.

John has started physical therapy, I have to take him 3 times a week for the next month. Thankfully, the therapist doesn't think John will ned quite that much. I took him yesterday for his "consultation" and today and friday he goes for his sessions.

I agree with you on all! Archuleta is tooooo cute and toooo sweet and not to mention such a great singer!!!! And Michael Johns!!!! I really like him..... and lastnight he kind of looked hott! The dude with the guitar was great too.. I love the song he sang.

Cally ~ so you're going to watch movies at work without Roger ! What kind of care facility is this? I hope you like the job and I'm so glad they are going to pay you!

I have never stayed at CR. I love the Boardwalk though, mostly due to the flexibility in transportation to Epcot/DHS, and the easy access to a bunch of my favorite TS restaurants (Flying Fish for example). I prefer TS to CS so I do not have the complaint of not having enough QSR at Boardwalk. I also like that the Mandara Spa - where I can get a wonderous "hot stone massage" (which I am addicted too) - is within walking distance as well.
I am a MK girl so I would love to stay at CR or WL, I am on a waitlist for May for VWL, however, as a DVC owner I tend to stick to the DVC Resorts where I get more bang for my points!
I mulled over DVC ownership for 4 - 5 years for that same reason, and then kicked myself when I finally made the purchase. The idea that I (or the nieces/nephew) can vacation in our favorite place for the next (now) 48 years at 2005 $$ and the flexibility of points usage made it worth it to me.
