I just saw the local forcast...

We may just miss getting the flurries tonight...it was just 70 degrees here the other day!!! Wha'happened?!?!?!

I'm glad your fish are coming around :)

Hubby wanted a salt water tank, he seems to have lost interest in that...

thank goodness.

It got really really windy here about an hour ago and there was one huge bolt of lightening and a loud thunder and it was snowing like crazy......all at the same time. :sad2:

Morning! :)

The weather has been pretty strange lately huh? It's kind of chilly here this morning but it's suppose to warm up.

Robin, glad to hear you fishes are doing better.

Steph, I looked for you on yahoo yesterday. :guilty: What have you been up to lately?

Colleen, my hubby will occasionally forget about the salt water tank then he would remember again.

Susan, :wave2: have a good day at work today.

I have class today at 1p.m.

Was the latest ZJO question ever answered? :confused3

Our Ann (Hollyann) types quite fast *and* without looking. One day it seems she had her fingers set a bit off of her "home" keys and instead of writing Hi it came out ZJO...we've all kind of adopted it from her.

~It was sunny and breezy here today, a long one but a good one~
Glad you cleared that up, I couldn't figure that one out, even asked the teenager of the house who didn't know either. Makes perfect sense now!

We got a dusting of snow last evening, temps went back down to 30 or so. It rained :umbrella: throughout the night and then I woke up to more snow. It's really quite depressing. The roads are suppose to get quite bad!! :guilty:
This weekend is the local (45 mins away) garden show, I hope the weather is good for that, it would be kind of funny if it was snowing outside but late spring early summer inside the auditorioum! :rotfl2:
I just noticed this morning that my dianthus are starting to come to life, there's evidence of tulips, and iris' and silver mound. No sign of lupines though.
Betsy- you chase geese, my Dh chases sheep and goats, :rotfl: The neighbors went away and the animals found a way out of their pen, they came down the road to chew my grass and flowers, and pooped everywhere!! I can certainly relate to chasing off the geese. It was quite amusing when the daddy goat decided he wasn't going and took a step toward DH, Hubby backed away quite quickly and went to grab a broom. It worked, til the next day! :lmao:

Good Morning all.

Well I too woke up to about three inches of fat fluffy SNOW!!. :sad2: .
God must be a little late with an April Fools joke.... :clown:
Im not too upset about it though because I know it will be gone by the end of the day....

Glad the fish are doing better....Robin... :thumbsup2

Sunny,
When we first moved here, there were cows(about five cows and a bull) across the road....They use to get out and come over and eat our grass...
Well I though Id just herd them back over on my lawn tractor :smooth: ....NOT  !....The cows started moving but the bull didnt like that idea......He turned right around on me, put his head down and started pawing the ground.....I showed him :smokin: ..........................how i know how to turn that tractor right around to go back the other way....Im basically a chicken :teeth:

Cally,
Your lake spot looks very nice and warm :goodvibes ...and I wish I lived there right now  .....Oh well I only have a few days more then a month to go :hourglass ....then Ill be soaking up the Fla. sunshine :woohoo:

Susan,
Have a great day at work...and dont forget to kiss some babies for me...! :cloud9:

Colleen,
I just love your cruise pics....I check out the Pic of the day thread all the time......It must cost an arm and a leg to get you hair done at the ships shop....I know I wanted to get mine cut at Disney (highlights and trim) last year and it was twice as much as Id pay at home... :sad2: So Im getting mine done the week befor we go this year... ;)

Well I have running to do today.... :moped:
Have a good day everyone

No more fishy deaths overnight, so hopefully we are over the main crisis. I won't be surprised to lose a few more before it's over though.

Cally, I love the pictures of your lake. We have winter wonderland pictures here today ;) I agree with Betsy, it will probably all melt by the end of the dy, so it's no big deal really. Except of course when you have to go out and scrape the car first thing in the morning :guilty:

Enjoy your class today Cally. Make sure you learn something because we are going to ask you about it when you get home :teacher:

Hey Kim! :wave2:
I havent seen you around for a little while :3dglasses ....How ya doing?....
Feeling better?....Hows your dad doing?.....All set for the big trip?....
I think I have all my plans downpat... ;)

Robins got a little over two weeks:yay: , and I only have a little more then a month :cool1: ...So your trip is right around the corner! :cheer2:

Sorry you're still getting the cold stuff guys..... very strange for this time of year.

Well class seemed to fly by. I guess it will seem like that everyday since it's only an hour class ;)

We went over chapter one and two which (since Robin said I would have to give a report :teeth: ) is just explaining how most medical terms have a root word, suffix, prefix, and combining vowel.

For example: hepatitis Hepat is the root word (liver) and itis is the suffix (inflammation) .. so when you define it you start with the suffix and say..inflammation of the liver.

Easy enough right? :teeth: I hope all the terms are as simple as that but I doubt it.

Well TK'ers that is your lesson for the day! Any questions? :lmao:

tiggerwannabe - Thanks for answering the "ZJO" question. I had completely forgotten I asked  .

Robin - Glad to hear your fish are doing better. Oh my goodness snow and lighting...freaky!

tinknutt - :wave2:

Cally - I was in bed all day long for all the wrong reasons. We had to call the doc last night because my back had been throbbing for the last day and a half. Found out I have a bladder infection. I've had enough that I would think I knew how they felt by now but I guess being pregnant makes it different?? Glad to hear you learned some stuff in class today now go do your homework :teacher: :rotfl: I love all your pictures youv'e posted and everytime I see a new pic of your boys they seem to be growing so fast!

sunny - Oh my we have people chasing geese, sheep, and goats around here! So is this some form of a new sport? :lmao:

Betsy - Now I have to add cows and bulls to the list?? I'm begining to feel like I'm missing out on something. :confused3 :rotfl:

KimRaye - :wave2:

Hope I didn't miss anyone!

No questions but I think you did a very good job of explaining how that works. :goodvibes

You will make a very good nurse, I'm sure of it.

:) You are welcome...

Yeah, that barrett, it cost me $50 :earseek: Could you imagine if I had my whole head done....:faint:

Cally, I was thinking the same thing...I like watching all kids grow up, I've been doing it for years ;)

Kids are an awesome thing, I cherish the newness and curiosity, their honesty...I like good kids. I teach the bad ones to be good kids. I teach the hyper ones to calm down and the sad ones to be happy....

hope everyone is having a great week. mine is busy. DtwinS's had their 1st baseball game yesterday. they lost, but tried hard. tomorrow DD has a softball game and DS's have bb game, so DH and i go in 2 different directions.
cally, sounds like you are off and running w/ your class. :moped: sounds like you're gonna be a great nurse. sister, sue really likes it. :thumbsup2
sorry to hear about all the snow going on...we here in florida are enjoying warm/hot sunny weather. it's a bit too dry tho and fires are starting to crop up here and there. :furious: betsy, by the time you get here in FL in a month, it will be nearing the 90's :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:
well, gotta go, mary :wave2:
