After breakfast we all kind of went our own way, Brittany and I found each other near the deck 3 atrium and decided to go visit with Santa…he gives a gist to all the kids, Brittany got a DCL watch and I had them send a gift from Santa to our room for Stefanie, she wound up with a DCL bookbag~

CruiseVacaB123.jpg

The girls realized when we got back to our room that they had not opened the presents that santa left them the night before…the girls and Mom were pretty happy with what they got…but I had something special that I had to carry all the way down from NJ with a promise that I would not open it until Christmas Day. I opened my gift and hubby had bought me a gold mickey silhouette diamond(ique) necklace. I loved it  My outfit was almost complete for formal night.

Formal night was Christmas night, I spent most of my days either at the adult pool, online or just wandering and checking out everything on the ship…I honestly was ok with my outfit for formal night but had absolutely no idea what to do with my hair :confused3

I combed it out, washed it and pulled it up but it seemed to be missing some bling~

I had my Swarovski Mickey pin for my lapel, my mickey necklace fresh from under the Christmas tree but my hair really needed a little boost. So I wandered…to the shops on deck four, nothing..to deck 8? Maybe my new young friend Molly had something I could borrow? Nope, I went to the salon/spa…my friends Aisling and Nan were still there getting their do’s finished and I told them I needed some bling…the salon hairdresser pulled out a basket of bling! Sat me down in her chair and not only added my bling but touched my hair up to get rid of the frizzies and hide my hairties all for the cost of a barrette. (A $30 diamondique barrette.) I gave her a $5 tip for being so quick and helpful.

The girls looked beautiful, I took this waiting to get our formal photo taken…

Hide and Seek .. Hmmm it was "ok" about a lil girl who's mother dies and her and her father move out of the house and strange things start happening in their new place...
This one creeped me out.

We tried watching Serenity. Didn't even finish the movie that's how bad it was.... Blahhhhhhh
Haven't even heard of this one, but I watched Broken Flowers with Bill Murray and it was HORRIBLE! I don't know WHY Bill Murray tries to do serious. :confused3

Oh wait... tonight is Desperate Housewives and Greys Anatomy.... Gotta watch those first!!!! :teeth:
LOL! For me it was the 2 hr Extreme Home Makeover followed by Desperate Housewives. ::yes::

I also watched Valiant with Kelly yesterday, a snoozer/doze-off for me, but cute ;) , and I watched War of the Worlds with Tom ("I'm a nut case" ) Cruise today. Good movie, made me cry actually, thinking of that situation and emotions and chaos and stress and helplessness. :sad1:

There, you have my reviews also. :teeth:

Kim, are you still thinking about coming. I sure hope so because I don't think it would feel right without you there :sad1: Since your WDW vacation has been cancelled maybe you can think about bringing the kids with you on the cruise. :duck:
Yeah sure! The WDW trip (or whatever trip) was/is FREE! Now, IF Dad would consider giving us all the cash to do what we want ;) , that would be great, but he & Mom want a family trip. Go figure. ;)

Congrats Pittsburgh! I know my bro's wife is also excited! Not the same here tho, for a Bears follower/former fan. :sad1:

Colleen, LOVE the pics!!! :goodvibes Ooo La La, Hubba Hubba and LOL (at the 5yo on the floor :rotfl: )! Great pics!! Thanks for sharing with us! :teeth:

Well, that'll wrap up tonight for me. I've been busy lately with Kelly's AR (accerelated reading) program at school.....searching for books, buying books, donating books, adding to Kelly's LITERAL library at home  , adding and paying for new tests/books to be added to the school's already 65 page list!......I'm the self-appointed 2nd grade AR advocate. :teacher: (not a good one either - I've duplicated some things along the way) :sad2:

I have learned that the radial nerve injury/damage that I have can last 6-12 weeks. :worried: Given that the last (2nd) injury was Cmas night, this could be a while. It's much better, but not 100% at all. Thankfully :worship: , there is NO pain, which I understand can be very common. My limited functions are decreasing tho. :goodvibes Strength is also improving. Thanks for all the care and concern the past few weeks.

I'm off Monday, with Kelly, for MLKs BD holiday. :teeth: Thank you MLK! :worship:

I have one more course to finish of the 4 hour online course I have to take for the ticket I got back in Oct/Nov (my FIRST ever). Did I mention the ticket before? :confused3 Anyway, the course is easy. I've been told you don't even have to PASS, you just have to complete it! Sure, THAT helps! :rolleyes2 :rotfl:

 and goodnight/good day everyone! :grouphug:

Yeow..... where have all the TKers gone :confused3

Colleen, thanks for the update on the dance recital DVD's. Just as long as I know where they are, that's fine.

Thanks also for the pictures of your vacation. That little guy is just the cutest thing :goodvibes

Hey Kim, how ya doin?

I had a busy day at work today, catching up from vacation. I swear that if I'm there all the time we never get any mail. If I go away for a few days, it's like Santa's mailbag around that place ::yes::

Of course it was always the year end before I left, so now I have to empty out file drawers and get things ready for the new years junk.

I have a few more days of solid work ahead of me to get things in proper order around there.

Hope everyone's been having a good day. It's gosh darn cold around here today :cold:

Ughhh I haven't been able to get onto the boards!!

Tinknutt if you get on...Bachelor tonight!!!!!

I need to go catch up...

Nope sorry Cruisin' no such luck killing this thing - it just wont die!!!! :rotfl:

I have not been able to post lately I am in the midst of cleaning my house - as scary of a thought as that is - :faint: :faint: We are finally going through DH's closet - YIKES :scared1: he still had a skinny leather tie in there - HELLO the 80's are GONE!!!! and I think we found Capote's treasure in there - I mean really the man has the opposite of a committment problem - he does not know how to say GOOD-BYE!!! and on top of that we are listening to the DirecTV XM and guess what he turned on - you guessed it - The 80's - He keeps wanting to bring back the polo under the oxford with the sweater - LET IT GO!! IT'S DEAD - LET IT REST IN PEACE!!! - Well I am off to finish his closet I think he just found Atlantis in there!!!

I will try to check in later - if I don't get lost in there - If you don't hear from me in 2 days - please send in reinforcements - I beg of you

'Nite TKer's!!

The first two and a half days of our cruise were so busy getting to know our other cruisers and our way around the ship we did very little activities...

I missed the welcome aboard show and the golden mickeys :earseek:

After that Stefanie and I made a point to go to the matinees together. We saw twice charmed, disney dreams and the goodbye show together...every one of them made me tear...literally.

We also saw Narnia, very good movie-the funny thing is we were so tired from the traveling and getting up early that I started to fall asleep in the theatre. I got up and went outside for some air, saw a gorgeous sunset and photographed it, went back into the theatre and watched the rest of the movie just fine.

I hope you all had a good Monday, I have some chores to do..mainly dishes...and a bed to hit

Penny (our puppy) seems to think that I have to be the one up with her at 6am every day and I really am NOT a morning person...I guess she'll turn me into one, eh? <----noted.

 A great big hey to all you out there...Love Ya, Mean It!

Cally & Kim

Regarding Spark People - I am loving it - however they must have a glitch in htier system - it is wise to enter all your food manually with all the Nutritional Info - it's kind of a pain but once you get the hang of it - it is so simple -
