Dalpal - No we don't expect to see any affects from Katrina....It's got us glued to the TV, though. There are two more low pressures forming....one is already tropical depression 13. The other is expected to be upgraded tomorrow. So, they're coming in one right after the other. Hopefully, they won't affect the sister's trip coming up....that would be a bummer.

Yep, it's fun to have the grandkiddo's around - but afterwards - I need a nap!

Robin - I understand about paying attention to what you do and not anyone else - I don't have that sort of discipline! Looks like a nice recital and I'm looking forward to seeing the DVD! Any big plans for this week?

I'm watching the hurricane stuff too while I DIS.

I don't have a really good feeling about those people in the Superdome I hope they will be safe there.

I have my last tap class for the summer tomorrow night. Registration for fall dance classes is this week.

Tuesday Rick is flying into the Boston area to look at a machine. I hope that Katrina does not have a bad effect on it.

I don't have anything else planned except we are almost out of toilet paper, so I guess a trip to the grocery store will be in my near future

I don't think the hurricane will affect Boston - it looks like it will go to the Ohio Valley area. I think that Tennessee is going to have a heck of a time with flooding, too. I'm concerned about the superdome as well, but if evacuating is not an option - it's better than staying put.

I used the last roll of toilet paper in the basket - but I think I have more in the closet.

Other than working, I've got a doc's appt on Tuesday....that and more working!

Well, I'm wondering how much weather he might have to fly through to get from Detroit to Manchester (I think?) and back again.

He is going and coming back all on the same day.

Yep, went to Best Buy today and picked up a cheapie. Haven't changed them yet tho.

Also went to Kohl's to get Kelly some more no-show socks, and spent over $80! NO, not just on socks! Just HAD to buy MORE clothes for her. I'm an incurable shopper.

Actually I don't really like barefoot dancing, I prefer to dance with shoes on my feet, but I wasn't given much choice. The teacher is very fussy about her recitals.

Liz is in the first picture, on the far right. It's hard to tell because they look so much alike in their lovely little Tinkerbell fairy dresses.

I'm going to go out for a bit and get gas in my car.

Alex called a bit ago and was talking with a gas station employee who said that gas prices can be expected to jump significantly tomorrow morning, because of this hurricane

My car is pretty much on empty, so maybe I will fill it up, just in case of a major price hike.

Good idea. I was at 1/2 a tank, and decided to pay $2.80/gallon today rather than see what the effects are tomorrow, or later this week.
