Yes some of those pics were at 3:15 am, and after a few cherry bombs, so take that into consideration when viewing We had a great time.

Thanks for the compliments on my son...he is a cutie and doing very well for himself in the USN.

Tonight I cooked a nice potroast with potatoes and carrots for DS and DH. I could only have the carrots. Then made dessert with low fat icecream and blackberries and rasberries. Yummy!!

School starts in the morning for DD. Am I the ONLY parent NOT HAPPY about this?!?! It means summer is over, our carefree, yet busy days are over, our Six Flags trips are probably over (maybe once more ), but it's over, over! And after I serve my lunch helper duty, I have to go back to work!!!! It's just not fair to end all the fun!

Who am I kidding? DD is THRILLED to be going back! I guess the FUN is over for her.

That reminds me, I need to adjust to an earlier bedtime for ME too!




And Ann, seriously, enjoy ALL the compliments!! I know it seems weird AFTER the loss has been accomplished, but it's 'noticing' just the same! Happened to me yesterday at the meeting at school, a Mom who had seen me several times during the course of last year, came up to me and said, "You sure have lost a lot of weight". I just said, yes, thank you. Geesh, I've been maintaining since Dec! It's not like I just lost all this weight NOW! Take what we get, when we get it, right?

It's about time school started for ya! We are all ready in the groove of things over here! I'm loving the extra time I get when the kids are off to school.

But I'm glad to hear your DD is thrilled to go back to school. That's the way it should be.

This is our first time in a public school... Let me just tell you it was like pulling teeth trying to get Dante into the gifted program!

Good Morning and thank you all for the birthday wishes for my DM.....

Im taking her to lunch and shopping for a new outfit today.....My Dsis is coming too....She works nights and cant make the cake and ice cream tonight .....

I am planning on making that wonderful cake TN....only I wont make it so big...left overs WILL get eaten in this house ......so I always send any left overs home with other people ...which works most of the time....BUT my Mom IS home sooo...A small cake is in order....hopfully it will be all gone by the end of the night....

STILL working on the deck.... ...It never goes a smooth as you plan...ya know?....all we have to do now is brace it ...and then the deck boards go on and ...YEAH! ..we will be done....Except my DH has to wire it for the spa...That shouldnt take long (yuk, yuk, yuk)..It MIGHT be done by the first snowfly

Nice pictures....Ann, thats a great one of you and Tom....( Did I tell you my DFs name was Tom?...well Loren really...but he was always Tom to everyone....Nice name)..Holly dog looks like she is doing well!...So cute...

Oh I took some pictures of my garden and flowers yesterday...Ill try to post them...I always use Imagestation too....But lately I have been having trouble with it....It keeps trying to get into my files on my PC....Dont like that idea....Ill try again ...and see what happens...

Happy Birthday to Betsy's Mom.

I hope she has a wonderful day.

School here starts on September 6th (my Mom and brother's birthday), so they still have a little bit of time left to enjoy the summer.

The weather has turned quite cool compared to what we've had for most of the summer. It's supposed to be going back to the mid 80's for the end of the week but so far this week it's been in the low to mid 70's

We have to keep the windows closed and the air conditioning on though because Alex has bad ragweed allergies.

I have to get back into my weight loss mode after school starts. I have been maintaining all summer but I've been eating really poorly When school starts I'm going back into my best behaviour mode I want to see if I can shed a few more pounds over the coming "year".

Betsy, I will be looking for those pictures and I hope you get to sit on that deck real soon.

I have waterlillies in my pond but they never bloom any more.

They used to bloom but now since the trees have grown more, I think the pond is too much in the shade all the time and maybe the lillies need to be more in the sun. They still grow leaves but just never any flowers.
