Ever think of what it would be like to travel the California coastal highway?

Yes that is something that we have talked about.

We have thought about combining the trip with a car show that is always held in August at Pebble Beach. Our shop sometimes does work in the cars that are exhibited there.

I don't really want to do Disney in August though. I've heard the summers are too busy there.

ZJO Threadkillers!

Robin - I LOVE Disneyland. It has so much history. You'll find it's MUCH smaller than WDW but can be very crowded. I like Space Mountain better there and the Indiana Jones ride (not show) is awesome! The PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) is beautiful! California would be a great place to vacation!

TW - I don't know about tinknutt, but I probably won't get a Pal Mickey. Not my kind of Disney thing....but I hear they are really neat.

Tinknutt - we are SOOO close! I can't wait! I've been checking the weather diligently and it looks like we're schedule for 60% rain on Saturday, but that's it so far.

DalPal - congrats on the hot-tub. Can't wait to see pictures. What are the post cards?

Ophie - I'm not sure what the post cards are yet, but it sounds like you pulled a rabbit out of your hat!

Kim - sorry I missed you during the day....I've been working but no time for lurking! It's been a busy, but fun week. We're currently moving offices around.

Speaking of moving offices - I think that promotion might actually be on the way sometime soon. They're talking of promoting the receptionist into my position and then I'll move up. However, we have to get a receptionist first and the office manager is going to be out for several weeks. Once we delay....the boss finds more reasons to hold off. However, half of the office switcheroos are done, so I guess we're committed!

I've had a nice, relaxing evening with DH.....glad it's Friday! This Sunday, we're meeting DD, DSIL & DGS half way between here and their house for breakfast and play....looking forward to it!

Ever do Sturgis?

I love to ride - but prefer to be a passenger - the wind in your face, the scenery...riding is awesome isn't it TN?

We don't own any cause motorcycles scare the h*** out of DHs dad. DH is an only child and his dad doesn't have too many issues, hubby respects his dadz wishes for us not to ride (yet.) Maybe dh and I will splurge on his and hers motorcycles when we grow up

Momz been enjoying her trike all summer, way better on gas than her truck.

On this next trip I will be a passenger at my DH request.... . Says its too hard to communicate on 2 bikes. (When to stop etc...). So I'll try it. I sure do like riding my own.

This Gold pin would be a very nice addition to my collection. The new and improved mickey sounds way cool! Did you know he's a PDA in disguise?

I tend to buy special editions, anniversary pins, christmas party pins, holiday pins and just about anything with Mickey on it pins.

Just started the collection of lanyards. I wear some of my pins to work. Have to be careful not to scratch the babies. Wore a whole lanyard once, by the end of a 12 hour shift my neck was killing me!!

I've got a bunch of studying to do....Neonatal Resuscitation class/test this week. So, this may be my only post this weekend

Hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend. Will miss you all..... (A little over dramatic don't you think?)

Okay - here's the scoop!....

I FELL OFF THE BED! Now I just measured it and our bed is VERY tall - 32". While (almost) 3 feet doesn't sound too much, that's up to my hips! When you're sound asleep - it feels like falling off a building!

Contrary to what tinknutt THINKS (gutter, girlfriend - it's in the gutter!! ) it WAS the alarm! I was laying on the very edge of the bed (don't know why - its a king size) and I rolled to turn it off and FELL.

So, I hit my head on the corner of the night stand - got a headache for that one....

and I hit my leg on one of the curves on the bottom of the rocking chair! I got a goose egg on my leg for that one! It hurts like the dickens! Should have a niiiice bruise for all those Disney pictures tinknutt's gonna take!

Anyway, I'm going to take some aspirin and get an ice bag. I do have to say though the first thought I had after "OUCH!" was of Kim Raye when she banged up herself on a.....bike....wasn't it?!

Well, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!....

I disguised my writing for Betsy's DGDs and pretended to be Cinderella and Aurora. So, it's not from a random person, it's from the princesses that they met and had a meal with on their last trip!
