So what's everyone been doing all afternoon?

I've just been puttering around the house. I think that Liz and I will be going out to eat tonight since it's just the 2 of us home tonight.

I know this is very hard to believe but Alex will be home next week . I think that he is looking forward to coming home. He will be home for just 16 days and then his girlfriend will be moving away to University. I'm guessing I won't be seeing much of him for those 2 weeks or so that are left of the summer holidays

Hey tinknutt, I was wondering, maybe it has been answered already but I couldn't find the answer..... what type of nursing do you do? I know that if Alex were to be working as a nurse he would like to be in the emerg or intensive care. He'd probably rather just work as a paramedic full time though.

I've been chatting with TZM, working on fin aid stuff for fall, cleaning the apt, washing dishes, and I went to the grocery store. I was going to workout but my back really hurts today so I've just done some stretching and a few yoga positions to try to loosen it up.

I'm an OB/GYN (New Moms and Babies and Female Surgery) nurse. also have done med/surg. My second choice would be OR (Operating Room).

Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday. Had a great night last night with my sisters and family....The cake my husband made me was AWESOME!! Had to give him a treat!! Sang Kareoke (sp) for a while, did a little dancing to conteract the cake calories. It was a great time.
Now going to the gym with DH. Hope everyone has a blessed day!!

Alex is supposed to come home, so the house will be thrown back into chaos

It's been quite peaceful and quiet here all summer long

One less person really means a lot less work (laundry, food etc.)

I'll be glad to have him home again though.
