Who exercised yesterday? Sound off, July 6!!!

Okay, today is Sunday, July 6.

Big day for me - I did Tae Bo yesterday! Some of those parts with all the kicking were pretty tough, but I did it!

And I've already been for a half-hour walk in the river today (knee-deep water) with the dogs!

MOM2PRINCESSES - is the Richard Simmons Broadway tape really fun? I love Broadway tunes!!!

Wow, IMHALL2000, I hope I can get into the exercise habit like you! Great work!

BIBBITYBOBBITYBOO - Hang in there! I know exactly what you mean - sometimes it all just seems like too much. Please keep checking in here - hopefully we can all keep each other motivated!

A lot of us seem to like the Walk Away the Pounds tapes. I've never tried them - are they easy enough that I can do them now, and can they be difficult enough that I'll still like them later?

Great work, everyone! Yay us! I love this! I have to say that I did NOT want to exercise yesterday - so HOT - but I did it because I wanted to brag about it here :p And it felt so good once I was done!

Have a super day, everyone - "see" you tomorrow!

Daisy ;)

What a great bunch of movers and shakers!!!!

Yesterday I worked biceps and back with my hand weights. Just got back from a power walk with DH and my sister (45 min). We are going to walk around the Magic Kingdom this afternoon. :) Hee hee, gotta renew our passes so might as well get some Disney exercise in.

Yes, the broadway tape IS fun. There are three, that I know of. One is a 20 minute that has a tool with is for stretching and toning, a 30 minute aerobic, and a 60 minute (probably 55 workout) that is my favorite. It took me a couple of weeks to learn it by heart.

I also have Tae Bo, but I cannot get it down, I am always moving the wrong way etc. I like routine, which is why I haven't tried harder with the Tae Bo - - plus I am afraid of kicking one of my girls on accident (they love to be right in the action when I workout!)

TigH---I am jealous of you on all accounts 1) for reaching your goal (seriously, Congrats) and 2) for "renewing your passes" and being so close to WDW!!! (Have fun);)

Oh, and YES, I did do the 60 minute Broadway tape yesterday!

Wow, there's a lot of stretching and sweating going on here!:p

I swam laps for my exercise yesterday.:teeth:

I did the 2 mile WATP three times this week. But now my knees are really aching- maybe that's just a little too much for them(?) Even swimming was painful.

I think I'll lay off the WATP for a couple of days. Maybe I'll give Pilates a shot today.

Keep on working off those pounds, my loser friends!

You're all looking MAHvelous!

Kathy, I am sorry your knees are bothering you. :( Slow down on those side to side steps if you decide to do WATP again.

Reporting in! I did the 2 mile WATP w/additional weights yesterday and today! :teeth:

I just finished 2 miles w/WATP, and then I did my Tai Chi evening workout (more mellow than anything) and then an evening meditation. I feel great. But that might have something to do with the sugar free taffy I bought today...LOL:p

Took sat and Sun off, but went and did lower body legs this morning.
Tomorrow it is upper body!

Only did half the Broadway tape yesterday, family was ready to go to the beach. Did walk a lot at the Beach, purposely took the "long ways"
