Good morning, everybody!!!

Here's to another glorious day! I had a brief chance to exercise yesterday, so I got in two miles of WATP. And it felt GOOD! :p

I'm waiting for a new pilates DVD - DH has said he'd like to try it with me, so that should be interesting!!! I'll let you all know how it goes. I've noticed there are a LOT of WISHers who enjoy pilates, so I'm really looking forward to trying it! :Pinkbounc

So, how did yesterday go? Did everyone have a chance to get active? If you took the day off, did it feel just wonderful to relax? Hope so!!!

Do tell! What was your workout yesterday?

Have a wonderful day, everyone!!!

Daisy;)

I did the 2 mile WATP while DS was taking his nap. I almost didn't do it but I forced myself and I was glad that I did. :)

I am pretty sore today from some extreme gardening and starting all of this exercise so I don't know if I should keep going tonight or give myself another night off. I don't want to get out of the habit but I also don't want to hurt myself. How much pain do you take before you step back?

I walked 1.05 miles outside yesterday with my father. Also did lots of walking shopping :D

Have a great day!!

I got up and did the 3 mile WATP's prior to to going to Church. It felt really good!!

Great job everyone!

Melanie

I did the 1 mile WATP tape last night. I hope I'll get back up to the 2 mile tonight.

It was 97° in my town yesterday and I helped my DDs dance group during a parade. The parade was about 2 miles long. I walked along side the group and jogged back and forth when they needed water (the girls danced almost the whole 2 miles in the heat!). It was a great workout for everyone!

Daisy - good luck with the pilates DVDs. I love mine and during the week I try to do at least the 20 minute workout everyday before work. I really love that it is only 20 minutes because I don't have to get up that much earlier to get a good workout before I start my day.

Keep up the great work everyone!

I have been so bad this weekend. :(

The best time of day for me to fit a few minutes in of exercise is in the evening. Well, every evening this weekend I was busy either out away from home or with friends over until past midnight, and since the exercise tends to energize me for a little bit (except for yoga but that takes 30-40 minutes), I don't like to do it *just* before going to bed. So I didn't really get any measurable exercise in for the whole weekend, and today may not be any better since I have class tonight and may not get home until almost midnight. :( If I do get home before midnight, or if that Tai Chi class is offered this afternoon (I haven't checked yet), I'll do some Tai Chi tonight.

But, on the plus side, I did get some *brain* exercise in since 3 of the 4 board games we played were strategy games and not just "roll the dice and move". And, I also found out my friends bought the WATP set and they've let me borrow the 1 mile so I can see for myself if this is something I would do or if the 30 second video preview I saw was right and it's not my style.

Great job everyone, and that WATP video sounds really cool!!

DH and I went SCUBA diving yesterday while our DD was doing her checkout dives. She is now certified, and we are so proud of her for completing it!! (she is 12) We spent about 1 hour underwater so whatever that counts for , and also countless runs up and down the hill to the water.

Have a great day!! Enjoy!!

After Curves on Saturday, DH and I went for a 6+ bike ride on Sunday morning, including a hill that almost kicked my butt - but I chanted "I can do it" all the way up the hill, and made it! Then I got a Diet Pepsi slurpee as a treat - not bad for 0 calories!

Walked this morning, and Curves tonight. Let's make it happen!

after being totally lazy all weekend, I went to the club Sunday night.

Did a 30 min fatburn program on the eliptical, 15 minutes on the bike. (19.2 avg mph)

spent 10 minutes in the dry sauna for a reward.

It was too nice of a day yesterday so I decided to go for a 45 minute walk instead of going to the gym. :p

I am checking in for the weekend. I took off Friday. Saturday walked for about 2 hours or more...then DH and our friend sat in the hot tub because we deserved it! Sunday we did not arrive home until later so all I could squeeze in was the 50 minute Winsor Pilates CD.

I am happy to announce that I am in week 2 of my “exercise routine” (which consists of doing something at least 5/7 days). I am trying here!

I think I got too much sun over the weekend and not enough water so I am paying for it right now. I am hoping to feel better this evening and will do something for sure tonight.

Keep up the great work everyone
