I was all set yesterday to do WATP but I was foiled again. Dan asked me to do some cleaning since his brother will now be staying with us for a month or two. Normally I wouldn't count housework as exercise but this was 2 hours of cleaning I normally don't have to do. By the time I finished up I was just too darn tired for WATP.

Curves for me. Measure day too. I've lost 30 inches!! and 20.73 pounds of body fat!! woo-hoo!

WHOA! Minnie, that is fantastic!
Honey, Housework counts if it makes you tired!

I did my cardio at the gym. It felt really good!
I think we should have some sort of exercise clippie! Like a cheat free star or an exercise pledge pin. :hyper:
I could never get a cheat free star, because I have no real eating prescription, only guidelines. But I could exercise every day! Even if I'm sick, I can do something.

Keep the Faith!

I walked a mile in the afternoon and did the WATP 3 mile express in the evening. I love the WATP, I always say to myself that I would just do the 2 miles but once you get that far you figure what the heck and do the last mile.

I exercised Wednesday! I just joined yesterday and it actually helped motivate me to exercise knowing that Iwould be able to post on this thread that I did. I wallked a mile on my treadmill and did some toning on the Bowflex. Any tips for staying motivated to exercise?

How do you like the Bowflex? Dh is "jealous" that he can't go to Curves so we're looking into something he can do and home and that maybe I can do on off Curves days or when my year membership runs out.

We'd be limited on which system to get b/c it'd be in the basement and we have a low ceiling (can't get the monster Bowflex units--but then again, do I NEED 108 different exercises??)

TIA

Twice for me - walking in the morning, and Curves in the evening.

Ohiominnie - if you are looking at a low end bowflex consider the bandflex. It is very similar to the lower end bowflex machines and much cheaper. We have one and I really like it. Very simple to use. I really didn't need anything with lots of different exercises, just the ones I am familiar with - most of the ones you would do on a weight circuit at the gym.

Thanks, honeymo78! :)

I do 10 machines at Curves (someday they'll get the other 2) It's working most parts that I want worked. Maybe I have parts I don't know about that should be worked, but I surely don't need 108 different exercises!

Thanks for the info. I'll have to check it out!

Me! :wave2: Back at the fitness center for 40 mins on the elliptical and 3 sets at each weight machine.
