and what did you get?

After I wore myself out this morning helping Lance win the Tour de France, I had the rest of the day to play. I just couldn't settle on anything. It turns out that what I wanted to do was go to Target and buy...

cleaning supplies!!!!!

Now I am home ($213.50 later) with enough toilet paper and bleach to clean all of the Grand Floridian!!! Just can't resist the impulse to stock up. I also got DD11 bunches of quasi-healthy snacks and drinks to take to day camp tomorrow, as well as a few organizng things like wooden coat hangers. I just love Target!!!!

What did you buy at Target today???

I went to Target today! I just got back from there about a half hour ago.
Let's see we bought dish soap, Tide to Go, and 6 AA batteries.

Today at Target, I bought: laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dishwashing liquid, paper towels, a pair of really comfy pajama pants, and picture frames for the results of my DD's first formal picture session. :teeth: Total spent was $64.98 (BUT, it was my second trip to Target this week. Last trip was $48.00!!!)

Just got back!!!!! They had TONS of toys 50% - 75% off! I racked up on the boys christmas and birthday presents. The pool supplies were 50% off so I racked up there also. I finally made it over to the bedroom section, my favorite section......let's just say I should never be allowed into the bedroom section, I can't control myself! ;) I love the Woolrich collection and bought a beautiful King quilt and matching pillows (they are blue with a lake scene on them).

Sigh....I am about 300 and some odd dollars poorer. :faint:

Ha ha
I only spent 9.68 at Target today.
Got Magic Clean Erasers, sponges, and wax paper. I went to get DDs school supplies, but their school lists weren't there :rolleyes2 They're slow.

I also went to Target today.

I got this real cute black shirt with the Ghost Monsters from the '80s game Pac-Man on it, some CDs for the computers at home, some CD organizer boxes, a tray for our black lab dog, and a couple of black composition books for my younger sister. Overall, a great shopping day!!! :teeth: :cool1:

I went to K Mart. Does that count? I like Target better, but K Mart was in the shopping center I was in.

I bought a power strip with a circuit breaker in it to plug my microwave in to. My microwave shares a circuit breaker with the refrigerator, and it occasionally trips and turns the fridge off. Not a good thing.

I also bought a T shirt on sale, and some underwear. Woo hoo!

I've been to Target twice this week already, actually since Thursday. I bought some cute toddler shorts for only 98 cents each! I also bought some workbooks in the dollar section. So what toys are on sale!

No, Barb, sorry but K Mart doesn't count. Oh.... all right, just this once, but don't make a habit of it!!!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

We have a brand new Target :jumping1:
They had there grand opening today, but I couldn't make it had a sick child :sad1: :sad1:

no Target for me, I am on Target Probation! I spent too much there last week, so I have to avoid Target for the next few weeks!! It was hard because they did have wonderful buys on school supplies, but since I found a whole stash left from last year that I didn't use, I will just have to avoid them for a few more weeks!!!

Barbaraapple,

Are you in the Asheville/ Hendersonville area??? There is a big new Target that just opened today......

If so, howdy neighbor!!

I recently moved to Arden from NYC.

We also had a new Target open today. A SUPERTARGET!!!

But you couldn't pay me to get near the place today, or probably this week. After the crowds die down a little, I'm dying to shop there.

Just got back.. Got some school supplies.. 10 pack of spiral notebooks, scissors, glue sticks, red pens.. nothing too exciting.. :flower:

We hit Target tonight. Bought DH's hair gel and some school supplies to donate to the low income school supply store. Spent $4.30.

I went to Target right here in my home town today and I NEVER go to Target. :teeth: I was just too lazy to drive out of my way to go somewhere else. :teeth:

I bought a phone jack, a power strip extension cord, 5 sets of water colors, some mega clips for the art eisle at school (so we can use the water colors) and an ugly tote bag. :teeth: The total was $46.00 and change. And ... I took out some extra cash so I could go have lunch and a Bahama Mama at Applebee's across the street. :teeth:

Target is not open here on Sundays(grrr), but I am going tomorrow. The plan is just to get rubbermaid totes and a case of water..but you know I'll walk out of there having spent $100, as usual.

I went yesterday & today!! ;)

Yesterday I bought 2 birthday gifts legos for 1 & One of those plug in to the TV video games(star wars) for the other. Some school supplies, office supplies, tp & a new cabinet pull for the kitchen.

Today I had to go back for the rest of the cabinet pulls-I liked them & tinted moisteriser.

They had ALL their Buzz Light Year toys on sale, the big power ranger riding a motorcycle (originally 19.99 and I snagged it for 3.48!), the playmobile building sets, carebears, the huge Dragon sets that my 11 yr. old LOVES were 75% off, various star wars stuff, teenage mutant ninja turtles, and tons of stuffed animals.

They also had a lot of barbie items on sale - I bought a few for my nieces.

ETA: They also had their Thomas the Train items 50% off........gosh, today was good! :teeth:
