Who else thinks the media is giving TOO much information?

I just think that the TV coverage is ridiculous. I want to be informed but all the networks have preempted shows, they are all talking to their"experts" speculating on nothing. I find it just annoying. I wish one station would just report the facts and nothing but the facts. ugh!

Anyone else feel the same way?:(

Yes definitely, they have managed to turn this into the most boring coverage known to man.

ABSOLUTELY!!! And the real problem is that most of it is speculation! It makes you understand why the government is not too eager to give out details! Talk about "tipping off the enemy"!

I agree that the networks should stick to the news and end the media circus. Enough is enough.

What really bothers me is when the network anchors ask the reporters on the field what is going on, what are the troops doing at the moment and if they are on the move or stationary. Why not just tell Saddam exactly where we are and what we plan on doing and when. I was watching CNN and one reporter on the field was saying that they are stationary right now and will let us know when they move. Maybe this isn't giving out exact details but I think this is way too much. I like to be informed just like the next person but not to the point where it may compromise our troops.

I totally agree michelle.

I agree too. Last night they reported which planes were flying - then proceeded to show a picture of it, basically saying this is the plane you need to look for and shoot down. Way too much details for us. They're saying the reporters are a mile away from this or that, so now they have a real good idea where they are!

Me too! Way too much information. Things I don't need to know and neither does anyone else.

I'm with you guys. I don't need to know all this stuff and neither do the Iraquis.

Given the reputation of our over-reporting media, I can't help but wonder if the military uses them to give some disinformation. It would be a good bet that they would report any little scrap of news they could get.

Yes, too much information. I do want to know what is going on over there, but not at the expense of soldiers' lives. We need the element of surprise on our side. God bless America and those who defend it.

I don't mind the up-to-the-minute coverage, but at times they're just fishing for something to talk about. I'd rather be watching Days of Our Lives than live shots of cars crossing a bridge in Baghdad. Besides, we already have CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, etc. Does the wall to wall war coverage have to be on every single channel? Just about the only channel showing regular programming is the home shopping network. I'm waiting for the Food Network to cut in for live coverage of dinner time on the battleground.

On ABC they just said that our soldiers are vulnerable right now until they start moving.

Why would any one announce that our guys and girls are vulnerable? Why?
