Who else is watching 24??? (Spoilers possible. Proceed with caution)

Even if Tony lives, I don't think he'll be up and walking until the next season. Maybe we'll see more of Curtis helping Jack this season.

Remember in Season 3 when Tony got like a fatal neck wound (shot in the neck? stabbed? I don't remember, but it was serious). It seemed like 3-4 hours later he was up running around as if nothing at all happened. I would not be surprised if we see that again.


As for Chloe, sure shes in a holding cell, but I think we'll see her quickly convince CTU of Jack's innocence. Watching the previews of tonights episodes, they showed both Curtis and Buchanan talking to Jack (on the phone of course) in a manner as if Jack is helping working with them. But its awesome to see the increased airtime for Chloe.

I started watching with last season. I have the first three seasons on DVD but haven't had a chance to watch them yet.

I agree with you about Chloe convincing Curtis and Buchanan ... at least long enough until Diane and her son (what is his name? I remember Diane's because I keep thinking of "Jack and Diane" by John Cougar Mellencamp. I'll call him "Robin" for now, because the hero always needs a teenage sidekick ) can tell them that Jack was in the desert when Palmer was killed.

What a great show last night. Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. What will be hard for me after watching the DVD's is having to wait each week for a new episode.

I have been watching 24 since the beginning and I love this show! Its the only one that I don't miss every week, and I love the fact that they will be going through the season with no repeats(thats what stopped me from watching Lost, I thought it was a repeat every week!) I can't believe they killed President Palmer last night! yikes right through the neck! I jumped out of my chair! and then Michelle dies and Tony might be next. Was so glad they didnt kill Chloe though, she is too smart and CTU needs her. Liked Sean Astins character tonight, I knew he would pull through at the last minute, but he is going to be a pain in the butt at CTU. Was sorry to see Audrey the lip licker there this year, she is annoying to me. The first 2 nights were great, on the edge of your seat not know what was going to happen. But I really cant stand this years president with his pointy Pinocchio nose (but i do love Pinocchio!) he is such a jerk telling his wife "dont take this moment away from me" She needs to get a little tougher with him! Can't wait til next week!

By the way, can't think of his name now, but the guy who plays Palmer is going to have his own series! He is a great actor also! Can't wait to see if Tony is o.k.! this is going to be a great season!

My family and I are also fans of 24. We have been watching since Season 1. Each episode keeps you at the edge of your seat.

I can't wait until next Monday. I have the first 4 hours on TIVO, I will probably watch the show again...it was great!

Shocked, I was so shocked when Pres Palmer was killed. He was one of my favorites. I even got my sister hooked on the show now!

THE SEASON IS GOING TO BE INCREDIBLE!! DH and I have also been avid fans since Season One. ON sunday, he was in the living room watching football and I was in the bedroom. When 24 came on, when the commerical after Palmer got shot, he came to watch it with me. He said the tv in the bedroom was a few seconds ahead, so when Palmer got shot, I screamed but in the living room, Palmer was still in the window. He said to himself " why is she scr----- oh %^%(!"

But back to Palmer, he is so delicious and his voice......ahhhhhhhh! He was in the movie "waiting to exhale" He played the married man Whitney Houston was seeing!

Loved Pres. Plamer. Refresh my memory please, where is Pres. palmer's ex-wife Sherry? Did she die or go to jail? or just walk off into the sunset?
She is great. If she isn't gone-I could see them adding her to the mix.

Also, it annoyed me that noone thought Flank-2 position meant anything, I mean jack said 3-4 x. he wouldn't repeat that, if it wasn't important! This is Jack! Did "Flank 2" have a new meaning in current CTU lingo.

So who do you think is "bad" in addition to the Pres. assistant?
I think the CTU guy Chloe was w/ in the beginning is up to no good. That's how they (the guys in the van) were able to follow her. he put some tracking device in her bag.

No, they tracked her through her cell phone - they can do that to any of the CTU agents. That's why it's important to note that Jack said to her "maybe they never did" after she said that she thought she lost her pursuers. He may be on to something with their ability to track her and this leading to someone on the inside - you'd think, after the last few seasons, his mind would always go to a mole on the inside.

I love this show. You do have to suspend reality quite a bit to enjoy it thoroughly. It's just so ridiculous in many parts if you equate it to reality of a true President and their staff and their off-site offices - and also the reality of a counter terrorism unit. But overall the suspense is great in the show.

Dropped out during season 3, but thought season 4 was great. Suspense filled start to this season. Will continue to watch.
