Yeah!!! We leave Fri for PC!!! I havce been busy with classes, so this week is flying by. Today, I'm off, so I will be studying/packing. tomorrow I have inservice hours (teaching) and then Fri we leave about 1pm!!!

Saturday is official packing day here. Can't pack on Sunday gotta watch the Super Bowl and next week is just WAY too crowded with stuff.

Started packing yesterday, but am finding that there isn't too much to pack for just me! Can't finish too soon or I just worry I forgot something then have nothing to do the day before!

We aren't going until May, and I've been packing for the last 5 months!

Sounds silly, I know, but I've a big long list of stuff to take on trip, so every grocery day, I pick up a little something and throw it into our "trip pile".....that way, I won't have to spend a whole lot of money at one time for a bunch of stuff (like sunscreen, etc)

Ok, I've also been packing since the first week of Jan! I just have to "pare it down" next week once I look at the weather again. I am so torn on how heavy of a coat and how much cool weather stuff to bring. It is 20 degrees here so 60-70 to me sounds great!

We are halfway done and getting ready to leave on Saturday. Using lots of pixie dust because this trip has already been postponed 2x because of illness in the family. Looks like everyone is healthy now.

Woo hoo! We leave my house for the airport at 5:15 am tomorrow morning and my vacation officially begins!

I am a three-month packer too. I grab one or two things at the grocery store every trip, and it spreads out the cost. I think I started a little too early this time because I wound up with lots of extra stuff.

We leave Saturday and I haven't packed a thing! But I never do until the day before. I just make sure I keep up with laundry. I did though today have DD try on some of her summer clothes to see if they still fit or if I was going to have to pack her new next size up summer clothes. Luckily I always buy the next size up for DD once the season has ended - we'll be bringing some of those new summer clothes. Hopefullly we'll have a chance to wear them!!!

I have laid out, but not yet packed some t-shirts and shorts. Luckily (?) I can't wear them in this snowstorm. I also grabbed a can of Pringles earmarked for WDW.

I'm also packing for DS15 to go to his brother's house while we're away. And DS23 agreed to take him if I would make him a layered bean dip for the Superbowl, so I grabbed most of those ingredients. It feels a little crazy. LOL

I took the suitcases out Jan 1. Just to get in the mood didn't pack much then. DD age 4 played fashion show the other day to see what clothes fit. Thank goodness I too take advantage of the end of the season sales and buy the next size up. If I didn't she would never have a swimsuit for our winter vacations. Here in Wisconsin we won't see them for a long time.

Well.. My cable provider decided to make tonight Barbra Streisand night... and this is when I am supposed to be packing!! after all.. I leave at 5:30 tomorrow moring!! BUT Barbra is on!!! Oh.. the dilema.. Barbra.. Disney... Barbra.. Disney... I am at a loss.. so..I threw some stuff into my suitcase and I hope for the best.. gotta go.. The Main Event is on !!! Guess I will be purchasing some new Disney attire!! Everything has a silver lining!! Hee.. hee!! !!

OK packing done, bean dip for DS23 brother-watching made. Just have to teach one class, take dog to kennel at 2pm and then it's off to Providence to hopefully catch one flight earlier than the one we're booked and then DH and I go on to POR!!!

This birthday trip is a real extravagance, but now I am really getting excited. We're only spending 3 nights, and poor DH--our carriage ride at POR is booked during the Superbowl! He must love me a lot!
