the time change this weekend?:) I actually get to get an extra hour of sleep.:) Too bad the time change doesn't happen on a Monday, that would make it so much better.:)

I'm looking forward to an extra hour of sleep. And I'm hoping it won't be dark next Monday when I leave at 7:00 to drop DS at high school.

An extra hour of sleep is a good thing. :teeth:

Browneyes, you could do what I did last year and not change your clocks until Sunday evening, giving you the extra hour of sleep for Monday. Yes, all day Sunday if you are going to be going anywhere you have to constantly "convert" the time in your head, but come Sunday evening you will have an extra hour still, and can do your time change then.

:teeth:

You don't know my mom, #1 Disney Fan. She'll call me at home on Saturday and remind me to reset my clocks. Then she'll either stop by or call me on Sunday to remind me to reset them again, and to double check that I reset the one she forgot to reset on hers.

It's a good idea though.:teeth:

NO! I like the time where it is NOW! I cannot use the EXTRA HOUR sleep cause I get up SOOO early now! (by the way I leave for WDW in..........17 days!):bounce: :Pinkbounc

No! Not this weekend!! I have to fly to Boston on Sunday morning...I forgot all about the darn time change.

17 days and 1 extra hour.;)

Sorry Kinlaw:(

I wish they would leave the clocks alone. Don't like that it gets dark earlier.

But getting dark early time is "real"time, so if they didn't change it in the spring, it would have been getting dark early fo a long time already. So by changing it it actually saves us from more getting dark early days.

I Think

Noooooooooooo!!!! I hate it!!!!!!! The sleep's not bad, but I hate the darker afternoon hours!

Steve - yes you're right, the days naturally get shorter. But --- the days would be getting dark at 5:45 instead of 4:45 if we would leave the clocks alone!

Here's the question I have. Do we lose an hour of daylight in the afternoon and gain an hour of daylight in the morning? :(

I am so looking forward to it. I get so dang tired of getting up and going to work in the pitch black... and it is 7 am  I think the time change is loved and hated by people depending on where you live. I hate having it in the summer... I don't need sunlight at 9 PM!!!

Yes, we get more sunlight in the AM. That's great for me - I arrive at work in the dark! I hate that! But I LOVE the sunlight into the evening in the summer.

Heck! Saffron and Fireplug make this time change thing sound like algebra to me!!:p
I am looking forward to extra sleep. I don't like working until dark but if I don't fix my clock, my clients are all late for their appointments.;)
