In NJ here...we are suppose to get 18 inches here, but we live on the border of the blizzard warning so the slightest shift in the blizzard and we are screwed lol. We braved the grocery store over the weekend and we have a little local store and I have never seen so many cars in the parking lot before its crazy!
We are in Central Long Island and getting 24-30 inches
Oldest ds was in Worcester, Mass visiting his friend this week end. He left this morning and has now given up getting home. He is staying at aother friends but much further away from our home on Long Island. At least he made it to the island.
Sent another ds out for groceries since my dh is away on a business trip. Lucky him!
Central NJ taking about 24 plus inches . I'm planning on doing all of my park plans and ADRs tomorrow. May as well use the time wisely.
Stay safe everyone!!!
Long Island here with big predictions and already the dogs don't want to go out Got out of work early and will have tomorrow and possibly Wednesday off as well (if not then def a late opening)
Another Long Islander waiting for the historical blizzard to hit. Schools closed early today and already closed for tomorrow. Saying 2 to 3 feet! Stay safe everyone!
NOLAchick living in MA. I'm looking forward to seeing some epic snow tomorrow only because I don't have to go out in it. I'm sending good-safe-warm vibes to our state troopers, emergency and service men and women whose job it is to go out as situations require.
I've found it's fun to take a really large pot, collect fresh snow and enjoy some delicious homemade snowballs or daiquiris depending on your type and concentration of liquid refreshment. You can take the chick out of NOLA
There's a similar thread on the DIS Unplugged sub forum. Ahhh I hear the rubbling sound of the snowplows making their way down the street *looks out window* well I suppose the plow can drive against a one way street in this circumstance going to be a fun 24 hours.
MA here as well. 18-24+ predicted. Just went out and shoveled a path for the dog and I'd say we have about a foot with strong winds and heavy snow coming down. Lots of blowing and drifting, so hard to tell exact amount. As long as we don't lose power, it'll be a great day!
