We are going to the tree farm on Sunday to cut our tree down... can't wait  .

We did a tree farm for the first time this year. We tagged (picked) our tree last weekend and then we are going back tomorrow morning to have it cut down.

He lets people tag them (pick) between October and November and then he cuts them down in December.

He had a huge selection but most of the really nice ones were already tagged but we did find a nice one.

I can't wait! We used to do tree farms when I was a little girl so I'm looking forward to it.

I'm so excited... we started doing this with my side of the family about 5 years ago. The place we go has a little "Mrs. Claus' giftshop" with such cute Christmas things and they give out hot cider. It's the best :goodvibes

I'd like to get it tomorrow but I'm not sure if it's going to happen.

My parents are taking my boys tomorrow to a tree farm and will bring us back a tree! Fun!

That was the plan... But I'm not so sure I want to treck through 10 inches of snow to cut one down. And for my family, cutting our own is the only way to go.

I'll be thinkin' of ya while I enjoy my two decorated real 100% store bought artificial trees.
Yes, we added a second tree, brand new outta the box this year, for our viewing pleasure.

Got our first artificial tree last weekend at a fund raising event for East TN Childrens Hospital. The tree was decorated and donated by a local high school and was delivered to our home decorated and lights attached(with a 6 outlet power strip too) and the tree skirt to boot the day after the event ended. We were going to look for a "fake" tree this weekend but couldn't pass up such a nice tree for such a good cause. Plus the ornament are hand beaded by the students and won't break when darling kitten Figaro(8m) jumps on the tree.http://render2.snapfish.com/render2...?*KUp7BHSHqqy7XH6gXPJQ|Rup6lQQ|/of=50,590,442

That depends. Does today count as this weekend? We just got our a few hours ago. Let the decoration begin!!!!

We're going to get ours on Sunday! I have a really hard time getting into the spirit of things until the tree is up. Maybe after we put it up I'll feel like baking and Christmas shopping! :santa:
