I just saw today that "V" will probably not come back for another season. I'm so frustrated. Once again, a totally unrealistic ( non-reality) tv series that I really liked watching is clunked.

I loved Flash Forward, too. Bummer:confused3

I really liked Flash Forward and then it was gone, of course the 3 month hiatus in the middle of the season did not help.

I also liked the Event but alas that looks like it will be gone at the end of this season.

It happens to me too often.
I watched all three of those shows, The Event, Flash Forward, and V.
Another show I really enjoyed that got cut was Invasion.

I really don't like when they cancel the shows after leaving huge end of season cliff hangers. Some where out there the writers had to have some idea how the shows should play out. I would love if they would release any scripts written or at least ideas the writers had.

Everytime my husband finds a show he likes it gets cancelled. :sad1:

He liked both of those shows. He loved another show called Surface that wasn't on for very long.

I loved Flash Forward and Invasion! It really makes me not want to get into anything on ABC (that's good) for fear of it being canceled. Thank goodness they didn't cancel Lost, but let us follow the whole story and get resolution.

I also like The Event. It was awesome in the beginning....now it's just good.....which is still a lot better than Wipe-Out or Dancing with the Sluts or any of the other junk on TV.

Flash forward was hot , i dont understand why they keep stoping all the original tv show and keep on with the boring police show .

By the way V will have another season

Flash Forward got canceled because they were making it up as they went. Just like all the time I WASTED with Lost. While I was watching Flash Forward I was thinking this has no real story. In the long run we saved our selves from 250 hours that Lost took away from us.

We loved Surface, I'm still not happy that it got canceled. I also really liked the show from last summer, Persons Unknown. That had so much potential, I mean it could have been something along the lines of LOST, and NBC destroyed it by poor marketing, changing show times without announcing, and the like.

I liked V well enough, but I've been very hesitant to get into any show lately, seems like networks won't even give them a chance.

Wow - LOST wasn't made up as it went along. Matthew Fox was told the ending of the show back when he auditioned. They always knew the final few scenes of the show, and the basic plotlines heading to that point.

Personally, I loved LOST and don't consider it a waste of time. It was a wonderful show, other than those horrid first few episodes of season 3 when the writers were stalling the story when it looked like ABC was insisting on ten seasons instead of six...

I guess if you feel that way, don't watch any series just in case it turns out to be a big waste of time :confused3

Pretty much every thing I invested my time and interest in got cancelled this year ( V, The Event, No Ordinary Family). I will not be falling into this trap next year. I will not be watching any new serialized dramas. I hate wasting my time geting involved in plots and characters and then have it abrubtly end with no closure. Thank God I have a large movie collection because thats what we'll be mostly watching next year.

Not knowing what the V plans were, i stopped watching after the first season. I think the first two are out on netflix already to instant stream.
I never watched lost. I missed the first two episodes. The whole thing is on netflix now. Im thinking this might be the way to go from now on.
Watch history and discovery channel and other non network stuff, and just wait until a serial on network tv ends a run, then pick it up on netflix.
Dexter and Weeds are both worth watching. Again - netflix. Save your money and dont get showtime.

I loved Flash Forward! I thought all the episodes were really good and I really liked all the characters. I'm still mad that I'll never find out what happened!

Loved LOST, wasn't crazy about the ending but I still thought the series was great. And it definitely wasn't made up as they went along, it was a plan to end it when they did. I believe Flash Forward had the same type of plan to resolve the story over a few years and had the basic arc mapped out.

And don't even get me started on ABC canceling All My Children and One Life to Live!

Never Fails....every show that I really like gets cancelled and yet we still have the Bachelor 22. I just wish that the networks would realize there are people out there that like smart tv. I loved shows like the West Wing and Studio 30 on sunset strip. I loved Jericho. The Chicago Code was one of the best cop dramas I have seen in a long time. If they start making shows they need to do it like a tela novela that is intended to last only one year. Then you know what you are getting and no loose ends. But the only way to get rid of bad television is to get poeple to stop watching the bad shows.
