We won't be standing in the shadow of Sleeping Beauty's Castle for eleven more months......
Who else is counting in months instead of days?
And how are you going to pass the time without going crazy?
I have three kids to chase around so I am sure the time will fly by....but in September when we have six months to go I think I'll have a little "Disney" party to get us counting down properly.....:thumbsup2

:) Great thread! I have just under 8 months to go and December sure looks a long ways away since it's not even summer yet!!

Wow! We're going in September and I am still jealous of those doing the single digit boogie. Could not imagine waiting 12 months! But just remember, some of the best parts of Disney vacations are the anticipation. I like to begin my "Disney vacation" month before by renting movies (Disney of course like POTC) popcorn:: , going to the bookstore and finding books on Walt Disney and/or Disneyland, etc. Just think of it as you have more time to savor your future vacation. :rotfl:

We're going in August, and I think that's too long to wait! :upsidedow

September for us! :hourglass We are spending time watching Disney movies that we haven't seen for a long time, trying to get the kids to do extra chores for Disney dollars, and spending time trying to learn every bit of wisdom I can from this board.

My ticker says all...I have a little over 4 months! Every day I wake up and it's like, "okay, I just have to get through barely 3 more months of school  then my summer job, then off to Disneyland!" :cool1:

December here and I am so glad ! I am trying to loose 100 pounds ( and I will do it!! ) I set my goal as 50, then thought hey what the heck go for 100 :lmao: So I have lots of work to do. I am also having fun finding small stuff to bring,( hand sanitizer, poncho's etc. ) and buying cloths off ebay :woohoo: I am enjoying this time to get things together with out going totally broke doing it in the end before we go. Really trying my hardest to drop weight and keeping on my strict diet ( and loving it by the way) Because I am going to feel sooooooo good when I do go.
Also getting the dining plan and paying it off slowly not all at 0nce being hit with the meals. Yeah, I have 8 months to go, but I am making it fun :)

We are planning to go the first week in Feb/09. How do I pass my time...HMMM. First off I'm an addict to the DIS board, and have learned a ton of info about DL that I would not have found otherwise. I'm saving for the trip, making lists of the little things that need to be bought before the trip. Getting the passports for the kids next month. And generally slowly preparing for the trip. I probably won't really get excited until we book our trip to DL in Nov. But being involved in the DIS forum keeps me up to date about the goings on in DL and keeps the love of DL alive for me. And keeps me motivated towards the trip. I've also accidentally start to lose weight over the past couple of weeks after going veggie. Need to lose some weight anyway, so the more I lose the better. Am eating well despite the weight loss. Good luck on your weight loss!!:grouphug:

4 months seems more like 4 years! I am getting more and more anxious to be at the only place in the world I feel (or ever will feel) at home. :mickeybar :goofy: :tigger: :mickeyjum

I need to drop major pounds too. I'm so frustrated being this heavy. Can ask what your diet is, if that's not too personal?

Looks like it will be a couple of years for me...:sad2:

We just got back, and I've been informed that we can't go to Disneyland on every holiday...
So the next one will be in Italy, but it doesn't look like it will be happening until May 2010...
*Sigh*
