Who else Got Email offer for Swan/Dolphin

in August and Sept fror $129 plus a category upgrade. Got it yesterday there is no code or pin #. When I called just had to mention the E-mail and rate . must book by Feb 28. Were going Sept 23 -oct1.

I got one too but when I called she didn't know anything about it!

She put me on hold and guess found out it was legit 'cause I managed to get Labor Day Weekend!

When I received my confirmation, it said I had Lake View? As I have not stayed at the Dolphin before I have no idea what that means!?!

Just glad I get a quick trip in before DD starts High School!

I just received an e-mail today too. I am curious to know why because i have never stayed there before and i have never even inquired about it. Would anyone know why i got one? Would it be because I am on the Disboard?

upgrade is 1 category, which means at least lake view.however 3 years ago I got a $99 rate off Mousesaves with 1 category upgrade and ended up with a Balcony and great view off Epcot Ball and Fireworks!

Is this a "recipient only" offer or one that can be shared? If it is one that can be shared I would be very interested in any pertinent info. I know though, that some offers are only for the specific family that they generated them for (and who knows why or how they generate them) .

this is funny! seems everytime someone gets somthing it wont help me lol! I am going Sept 29-Oct 6th...so Im guessing the october part would be SOL right??

We got one too, It's the first time I have ever recieved an offer ever. Why can't I ever recieve one for a Moderate resort or something. Is it true that Swan/Dolphin is not disney owned? Does that mean you can't have a package with the dining plan??!!

Yes, I got it too. I had entered their competition for a 5 night stay at Swan or Dolphin and when I saw the subject line 'Swan and Dolphin' I thought I had won It's a good offer though! But we're not going until October/November.

That's correct, no dining plan. It's not Disney "owned" but the property it sits on is. The Starwood group (Swan and Dolphin being part of the Starwood group) leases it from Disney. You still get all the other perks like sharing Disney transportation, and Extra Magic Hour.

I am planning a trip in late August and was considering a stay at the Dolphin anyway with the teacher rate, but this is better. I had entered the contest for a free trip also - if that is what qualifies you for the e-mail, I wonder why I didn't get one? Thanks for any help you can give me!

About a month or 2 ago I was looking on the Swan/Dolphin site and filled something out. I can't remember what it was but you had to answer questions about the resorts. Maybe this is why we got offers by email or at least it's probably why I got one. It seems the offers are good for anyone since you can get them on their site anyway. It's more just like an advertising email. I wish I could get a PIN code. Does Disney still give those offers out?

I got one also and entered into that contest to win a stay at the Dolphin or Swan. I am already going in September so wont use the code.
