Who does hair and Makeup

Ok so who did you girls have do your hair and makeup. I am a hairstylist and so is one of gfs who is in the bridal party.We might do everybodys hair but it all depends on how we feel. I am definately going to need to get my makeup done.

I'm a hairstylist and I can tell you that your hair was in a bun,not curls. I'm sorry that did'nt work out for you.You were still beautiful!

Anyway I googled online last night and I found onsitebeauty(she does Disney weddings) so I am going to look into her too.

Defiantely do your research-- I was terribly upset on my wedding day. The front of my hair (which is in most of the photos because the back is covered in the veil)... looked EXACTLY like my hair BEFORE she even came... I, myself could have thrown a veil on to cover up the back mess... and went on to my own wedding!

I wouldnt just say this to be mean but seriously, i wish someone had given me this type of review before I chose a cosmotologist.

I would try to book Lily right through Disney, she was just wonderful. I have used others through Disney that were terrible. I would also suggest a trial run before your wedding or event...Good Luck!

I booked Rex through Disney. He came highly recommended on another set of Disney weddding boards I frequent, and he was awesome. My BMs, mother, and the flowergirls also had their hair done by Disney stylists/makeup artists (3 for all of them), but the only name that I can remember at the moment is Ana. They all did great work.

My experience with Rex was a disaster! He did my make-up & hair as well as one of the kids and it was a disaster! I would be more than happy to send you gals a photo of my wedding vs. the wedding I was maid of honor in...night & day!!!

I think he would do well with theatrical make-up.....He is VERY heavy handed with stage type foundation and when I told him what time colors look best on me he agreed and then moved onto the colors he thought would look good....they did not. Even the bride commented that she was so sorry.
As far as hair he was clueless...we ended up redoing it at the last might. When you look at the wedding pictures it doesn't even look like me! If you PM me I would be happy to send you the photos of my wedding done with Lily and my girlfriends done with Rex. Good Luck!

Very true. But for me it was a good thing, because at the time I had really bad acne and, I'm telling you, he made my skin look flawless. He even managed to cover up a HUGE pimple that erupted that morning (sorry to sound gross).

As for the hair, I was impressed as well. I have super, super thick, wavy hair and he created a style for me that didn't frizz and held up perfectly in the Florida humidity.
