Who do you book with for DLP? Annual Passes?

Hello,

Well, we did WDW twice this year and have decided to stay closer to home in 2007. I am planning three trips to DLP in 2007. My husband's 40th is in February and I would like to stay onsite at the Disneyland Hotel for 2 or 3 nights before spending the weekend in Paris.

Then in April we will go for a week with the kids for my son's 4th birthday. However, I think we stay off site at the Marriott Village d'ile-de-France.

Then onsite again in August for a 3-4 day stay after a stay in the South of France.

I am confused about annual passes. Do they exist? Anyone out there have one? What about the best rates for the resort hotels? Where can I find them or are they pretty much the same whoever you go through? Thanks a lot!

Hi,

AP's do indeed exist. We have obtained our first ones this summer. You can order them directly from Disney UK booking centre on 08706 06 6800. They cost £92 for a fantasy pass and £125 for a dream pass. Same price for adults and children (3-11). You will get sent temporary passes which will get you into the park, which you then exchange for "proper" AP passes at the AP bureau next to the castle. You will have your photo taken for the passes! The fantasy pass has 30 days "blacked out" when you cannot use it. These days are preset by Disney. The dream pass entitles you to some extra discounts, arguably the most valuable is the guaranteed 10% off Disney hotel accomodation and sometimes upto 25-30% during special offers. We bought 1 dream and 3 fantasy passes, which means we can use the hotel discounts. You can order passes upto 30 days before you need them. If you order them earlier than that, they will activate them immediately meaning you won't get a full years use out of them. We were told that the hotel discount is not available on the first trip, although other people on this forum say that is not correct.

We booked through a travel agent for our hotel accomodation (Sequoia Lodge). The official disneylandparis.com website does not offer bookings for annual pass holders as all hotel prices include park tickets, which you do not need if you are buying AP's instead. For my family, AP's worked out about £10 per person more expensive, instead of buying standard park passes, and of course we get some discounts and can go again without buying more park passes!

Hope that helps

Tosty.

If you look here they have an annual pass comparison.
There is a thread about annual passes sponsorship if you are staying offsite you could buy the passes on arrival and get 10 percent discount.
