the other day I made all of our ADRs and one of the nights we will be having a b-day dinner @ 1900 fare park for my DS turning 7. When I asked the cm to note that she said I should call another # when I called that they said that was the # to order cakes. Can anyone help me I have heard that they will decorate the table for a b-day I just need to know who to call. Thanks for any help :sunny:

My CM insisted she put that it's 2 members of our parties birthday dinner on our 1900 Park Fare dinner ressie. She did give me the number to call to order a cake if I would like. She told me to just remind the CM when we arrive too.

I also plan on calling about 3-7 days before we leave just to verify all reservations so I will mention it again.

I would call another time, see if the next CM will make a note of it for you.

The phone number for the GF to order special cakes is..407-824-2578. At least that's the number that was given to me. But, please, please, please...unless you are willing to pay extra for something, do not get your heart set on it happening. My dd celebrated her 6th birthday with dinner at CP. I told them when I made the ADR (PS back then!!). I told them again when we checked in at the podium. They did give her a birthday cupcake and a card but nothing special. I didn't expect it so wasn't disappointed. I have heard some people have gotten their tables done up nicely while others have not. I would ask about it when you call...perhaps they can give you some idea on how to best achieve what you want.
I say this only because I would hate for you to be disappointed on your sons bday. My dh made mention of the fact that we were in WDW celebrating my birthday and was upset when no one did anything special..not at the CR where we were staying or for my 'special' birthday dinner at Artist Point. Of course, if he had told me in advance I could have enlightened him!!! Silly ole hubby....but it was so nice that he made the effort.

Ok thanks. Actually I booked, he doesn't know, so he can see Mary Poppins, that's all I want a picture of him w/ her. He'll be 24 and the friend 23. Since they don't know we are going to this breakfast, if nothing is done they won't know the difference. And like I said, I just want him to get to "meet Mary", he has loved her since he was 5 years old. I just want to see the look on his face.

I will probably order a cake a couple of days before we leave for this one though.

did I say DS i meant DD oops! I plan on paying extra for a slipper dessert but i was hoping to get the table decorated anything extra would be greatly appreciated but not expected. So do you all think I should call a cm in dinning again? I hate to bug them if this is not the place to call. Is there a direct # for 1900 fare park besides the one to order the cake? Thanks for helping.

1) Nope.
2) You can get a cupcake and candle. that's it.
3) No table decorating or birthday cakes, unless you paid extra.
4) You need to order extras 48-hrs in advance.

NOTE: Having an event noted on the ressie usually doesn't mean much becuase most of the host/hostesses do not read the notes. This requires looking further down the ressie and most just want the name, time, number in party. If they lookled at every ressie, this would be a HUGE chore, especially since most are not special events.
